baby's are in hell because they have not yet been baptised so they suffer in the same way that virtuous pagans do in the outter limits of hell, where the only punishment is the lack of God's light and the lack of God's love
I thought unbaptised babies stayed in purgatory?
They do.
Purgatory is the least-horrible layer of Hell in A Divine Comedy.
This girl is like a leper so what she needs to do is try and find god
if she really believes she can be healed from this state, she will be healed from this state
Most afflictions like this are caused by sins committed while still inside the womb. If she can repent for what she does god will embrace her and make her as human as you or me but if she chooses not to she'll always be like this

Wait, were you at my church job this morning? That was exactly what the pastor was talking about.
Nah, he did a 40 minute sermon about how you will get a better room in heaven if you donate 10% or more of your annual income to the church. Not the first time this year he has said it either
There's also a dress code. No nehru jackets allowed.
They probably let you in anyway, but you'll get a room next to a noisy ice machine.

Does that qualify as an example of Poe's Law in action?

I'm just curious what kinds of sins one can commit while still in the womb. Planning bank heists? Worshiping graven images? Maybe gay incest if it's twins?

Limbo is the least-horrible layer of Hell in A Divine Comedy.
Purgatory is purgatory. A place where Christians have a second chance to be purified and ascend into heaven.
Hence why the second book of The Divine Comedy is Purgatorio.

Christian dogma holds that all people are born spiritually dead. So, you're dammed from conception. You don't have to do anything to earn that, it's inherent in human nature. That's why Catholics baptize so soon, it's like spiritual insurance in case the baby dies before it can really undergo salvation.
Protestants don't really have a firm belief on the matter, some sects say they aren't saved, some people say that they are.

Nah, man, everyone has original sin and not everyone has wacky birth defects. TheSaved guy was talking about sins, as in plural.
