Wow, you're improving quickly. I really like that last face you posted!
I agree with what was said; try more strait angles. It's something I have trouble with too. I tend to draw figures with lots of curves and it makes things have a 'lumpy' feel. Some straights to contrast the curves really helps.
Where are you going to school at, loom?

er thank you, but like I just said I usually start with straight lines, the layout of the figure is usually very boxy at the start then I add more curves. I attend watts atelier
It is nice to see Watts education kicking some (your) ass in here. I do agree though that you could use a lot more straights in your construction. You should try doing a few layins entirely in straights on Monday.
okay i'll try to apply the straights and let them maintain there as long as possible on monday, the main thing I was going to focus on was making sure it was completely proportionate by using the head throughout the entire body, so i'll probably be working a lot slower on monday anyways
ohhh thanks, I try to at least not be as hateful on myself in class, I usually unleash all my self hating on a person named mathias after class, like for 10 minutes I will rant directly at him how much I hate my drawings
Loom, the sheer banality of your diet has inspired me to seek out something strange, esoteric, and perhaps poisonous to prepare for dinner tonight. I may even just go out and kill something.
Eat Grits. Same as oatmeal but more manly since some has bacon bits.
Or Eggo's. Lazy mans waffles.
or eat what I ate for breakfast which was coffeebeer and candy. Being an adult is awesome.
Also your anatomy studies has came such a long way. Seems your getting more confident in your shading.
todays model was just..... realllllyyy bad it was a new model here ryan but.......
okay so I think I got better at understanding how hard it is to pose, but today, this model, I have never seen such a bad model Oh god anyways I did what I wanted to do at least but that was just pain, she would stretch 5-8 times during a pose, literally like 20 seconds stretching a entire leg wriggling it about then sloppily throwing it back in position, rinse and repeat she would use her arm supporting her weight to itch herself 5-6 times per pose. Everysingle pose her entire weight was aiming in the opposite direction by the end as well as a thousand other things like the fact her entire body was aiming in different directions, it was so amazingly disrespectful. also she wore a thong for some reason.
Oh right and then she automatically assumes its over 10 minutes early rather then a oh, maybe if I give one last 10 minute pose. so angry
it was like trying to give form to a none stop churning blob
Loom your faces are getting loads better, but you really gotta pay more attention to your necks man. I know they're not as ~important~ and you probably don't want to be thinking about them, but they make the rest of your thing look weak. Just move those shoulder lines up like a million miles to make his neck shorter.
Hey loom, I'm digging your art thread as usual. You might want to watch your head sizes esp in regards to this last batch- your heads are all really big. I really like the twistyness in a lot of your torsos though! You're definitely making progress.

thanks, since half my time studying is spent reviewing my work for mistakes which were done through the drawing I don't really have much work to show anyone, so now i'm going to start doing master copies of stuff as well as doing my normal reviews and drawing because it would sound silly having to explain to people why my pencil is not moving 24/7
I just hope I don't go insaneeee, now to eat a shlong dog
