People posting responses that equate to "I'd pick this because it can do anything I want it to do whenever I think of something" are lame wads. Pick something awesome - like the cookies or the Spider-Car.

It was a buggy, not a car, and it drove on walls and was awesome.

    Spidermobile.jpg

Oh Gods, that Spider-Man/Human Torch mini by Dan Slott where they steal stuff from Reed's lab to make the Spider-Buggy drive on walls is just the best story.

*edit* Actually, Reed's lab must be full of nifty little gizmos. I'd probably play in there for a few days before I picked something.

Without going straight to the broken items, I'd have to second a Legion Flight Ring. Flying would be so rad, especially being able to fly anywhere including space.

Chocos. I don't even have to pretend, I'm eating them right now.

Or perhaps a heart condition. Also possible. I'm allegedly having one right now.

Where would one get floozies if they had the money? Do they just come with the loft or do you drive down town tossing money out the window and hope they follow you home? I can't find them without money, so I'm trying to figure out where rich people get them.

And for items, I'll take Nick Fury's eyepatch. It probably doubles as a pocket nuke, can see through walls and might help get these floozies.

Techjacket is a really underrated series. I still maintain that it did the whole alien armor/cosmic feud thing better than Blue Beetle, and in much fewer issues.

Other than infinity gems? I guess I could take the hoods gear.

It'd force me to be responsible and not go off and do something ridiculous. Wait no then i'd just become a criminal. . .

Every man has had the dream. In fact yeah i'm totally fine with the hoods gear. You guys can fly around the world in your invisible jets and spider buggies. Me. I'll run across a rooftop or two and every now and then be an invisible force that thwarts a mugger.

    Sometimes look at breast.

(the hood MAX series was fantastic. one of my favorite purchases ever. I'm so glad they brought him into the main stream.)

The Gun Neutralizer is great until people realize they can still throw rocks at you.

Yes, ironically Wakanda still hasn't developed the technology to neutralize rocks.

They don't need one since they have technology to neutralize the rock throwers.

Do robot friends count as gadgets? If so, I would pick HERBIE from Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius. He'll be the voice of reason during my inane adventures, and unlike my Aibo he won't run away like my parents said he did.
