I'd say releasing any kind of Rock Band: Already Got DLC Available is a bit of overkill. I mean, I like The Who, but the Who stuff we have already has pretty much scratched my itch for the band. That would limit sales to the true die-hards, who aren't really numerous enough to support a full-blown band game.
I'd say they should stick to bands that don't have any songs available already. Which pretty much limits us to Rock Band: U2. Or possibly Rock Band: "Weird Al" Yankovic. I'd buy the hell out of that one.
That said, driving into work I found my "OK Computer" by Radiohead CD.
Without exaggeration, I'd pay $50 for that album.
I'm becoming more convinced you and I are the same person in two separate bodies! I've been pining for more Radiohead since launch, and I think OK Computer would be the most feasible for the traditional RB instrument setup. I saw a coffeehouse musician do an acoustic guitar-and-voice set of the entire album front to back one time, and it really blew me away how great the songs were even stripped down.

I'll admit I only remember one song from that album and it's Paranoid Android. And it would be SO awesome (the 90s rocked!). Too bad Kid A isn't Rock Band friendly.

You probably remember two: It's also got Karma Police! But the whole album is fantastic, and it's one of the few albums I own that I almost always refuse to listen to unless I start at Airbag and run all the way to the Tourist.
I still remember watching this. It was the final night of thier tour, and I stayed up late to see it. I figured they'd do Karma Police, but they bust out my favorite track on the album, "Electioneering", because they're finally done touring and don't care about promoting anything.
It's so great.
For guitar nerds - the tuning is awesome. Both E strings are dropped to D.

Me? I know it's too late now but I want Blue Album DLC (The World has Turned and Left Me Here is one of my favorite songs).
I would rather they release Pinkerton, since Blue is already represented and it isn't even their best album.
Every song on the entire album has a kickass guitar part, with the sole exception of "Butterfly". "Tired of Sex" might actually convince me to play bass on a song that hasn't been done by the Chili Peppers.
"Falling For You" gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. And it's a Weezer song!

And a reasonable sounding theory about what may or may not make the cut.
It's interesting that they took the censoring into consideration, I'll use the Foo Fighters as an example because I know their songs off hand. All of The Colour and the Shape is included except for Monkey Wrench and My Poor Brain, because even though they're censored, the swearing is extremely obvious from the context. I was wondering about exactly this the other day.
Just getting through the C's on that list, I am noticing a lot less than "90%" of my DLC being compatible, if in fact those are the only songs that are playable in the game.
I'm seriously amazed how was he able to learn...you know being blind and all. He isn't a bad singer either.
It's not all that hard for blind people to learn how to play most stringed instruments. It just comes down to memorization of where each tone is created and remembering finger position. And it helps when you're allowed to practice 10-12 hours a day like Jose did in his youth.

I still think Queen has a ton of music they could release (and I would damned well buy), but I do wonder if any/many other bands really have the history and "story" to tell that the Beatles did. If they could keep away from being utterly retarded in an "I Love The" kind of way, doing periods of time could work really well in the same way though.

^^ this. They've already got about half of the album in the game, might as well finish it off.
Oh God I need new pants. I would buy it on release day and pay for whatever special edition they wanted to sell me.

According to the RB Forums, it would seem that if you went to the Xbox.com Marketplace for LRB, they'll have a list of DLC songs compatible with the filter of the game.
Here's the list in an easier format:
