What reason did they give for not letting you back in? Health hazard from the smoke?
Apparently there was asbestos stirred up in some of the apartments that actually caught fire, but their insurance people don't want any risks. Plus there's currently no raw sewage or hot water.
We can get our things- the inconvenient thing is that they have boarded up and put doors on all the entrances so they only way to get into the complex is to unlock the door that leads to the walkway on your side, but only a few people from the office have those keys. So we got almost everything out but then I was sick so I didn't go a few days they had the mass moving of stuff and we need to get just a few more pieces out- but for that we need Quid's truck.
But Quid doesn't get out till the afternoon and they usually want to leave then so it's been like a slow moving of the bigger shit. I was making about two trips a day in my car for the smaller crap/medium sized stuff like chairs and whatnot.
And the past two days no one has been there and I didn't have the person in charge's new number to contact anyone, plus I had my own errands to run. So now we are the last people with stuff in there.
