Sorry guys! It looks like Slo-Bo's cells degenerated so he won't be returning this year. I guess he didn't get the memo that characters can come back to life. All you have to do is say you faked it all along! (Girls you know what I'm talking about
)Yours truly is running the show this year to show those big leaguers that they're not as special as they think (just because they have a Bat symbol on their chests).
This year there is one rule to the presents that must be followed:
The present must include (but is not limited to) one self contained story.
This means that your present must have a single issue or (even better) trade that your giftee can get an entire story out of. No "to finish this get the next volume". There are some great graphic novels, guys!
Steps to sign-up!
Step 1: E-mail your information by November 14
E-mail your information to thesecretspoiler@gmail.com
The subject should be your forum name, and the body should include your full name and address. Note that it says full name. Some places (like schools) don't like to give packages to e-mail addresses, so if you want to participate you're going to have to tough it out and give the internet your secret identity.
I'll e-mail you to confirm your name and address. READ THIS E-MAIL. Don't just assume you typed everything correctly the first time. If you made even one typo, you might not get your present and it will be your fault!
Step 2: Receive Giftee
A day or two after sign-ups close (so either on November 15th or 16th) you will get an e-mail with your giftee's name and shipping information.
Don't lose this!
You need it to make sure they get a present!
Step 3: Send Present
There's only one rule that your present needs to follow, and that's up near the top of this post in big letters. As long as your present includes that one book, you're good to go! If you want to throw in more books, toys, games, whatever you like, you're even better!
Deadline for delivery is January 9, 2010
Your giftee must get there present by January 9th. That's the second Saturday in January. The sooner you ship out your gift, the better your chances of them receiving it on time are. If you have more stuff you want to get someone, you still can send them it later, but you should try to at least hit the goal as quickly as possible!
If your giftee lives outside of your country, you might want to buy their gift online. Amazon is always a great value and is usually timely with their shipments, so although it's less personal, it's a safer way to go.
Step 4: Merry Christmas!
You've received your present! Awesome! I'm happy for you and you should be happy, too. Make sure you post to say that you've gotten your present, so your secret Santa can exhale and be happy.
If you love your present, make sure you post about that, too! It always feels super awesome to get someone a great present, and thanking your Santa is a present in and of itself!
If you don't love your present, don't be a Scrooge. There's no real repercussions for saying you hate your gift and you hate your Santa and it's not your fault your dad's a supervillain, but let it be known that any Scrooges will not get a memorial in the Bat-cave.

While I certainly have a bunch of single issue comics that I wouldn't mind giving away, I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to afford shipping considering I'm also doing the G&T Secret Santa again.
