    They have Raving Rabbids.

    In a game.

    About Ninja Turtles.

    For kids.

I think the rabbids are awesome, and I'm 34. Lighten up.

It's not about lightening up, it's why do they have these characters in this ninja turtle game that have nothing to do with Ninja Turtles?

    Let alone 3 of them?

That and I don't want to play the game. I saw it, determined it wouldn't be fun, and left it at that.

You played the game liked it, and got it I assume. Fantastic.

Whether you are 34 or 24 or 14, it's just a difference of opinions. That's all.

So then why do you keep repeating "for kids"?

Who gives a rat's ass if it's "for kids"? I'm sure the latest movie was for kids. Didn't stop our group of 20+ year olds from being first in line (and the only people over the age who weren't escorting kids to boot).

If it's fun, it's fun. Screw the recommended age notice.

Yep. Passing up things because it's "teh kiddy" is silly. Besides, pretty much everything with the TMNT label, with the arguable exception of the Mirage comics, has been for kids. So it's a little late to gripe about that.

I love TMNT and it will always have a place in my heart, but just because I don't play a video game of it doesn't mean I am Mr. Anti-Wii, because I own a Wii. I just grew out of buying every single thing that had TMNT on it around the age of 9. Just because I grew out of something doesn't mean I need to lighten up. I think we all grew out of Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy, but doesn't mean we need to lighten up about it.

I keep repeating for kids because *GASP* that's who video games are made for! Crazy talk I know. People like me and you and the older generations, sure we still play, but (with the exception of T through M games) games are made for kids.

However, I never said Smash Up couldn't be fun. I said it wasn't my thing. I will leave it at that. Anything else is trying to incite a flame war with me.

You couldn't be more wrong on this point. Besides the fact that the "T through M games" you leave for an exception make up the vast majority of games made, the average age of a gamer these days is in the mid-30's.

    What's Forever War?

also, I keep forgetting, what's the whole status with that 80s TMNT/Millenium TMNT team up thing?

Because the Rabbids have basically at this point become the company mascots for Ubisoft?

Are they really rabbids if they don't open their mouths? Aren't they just rabbits then?

They do the DAHHH think when they attack.

Still three is overkill. Like Leatherhead , Rat king, and A Baxter Stockman variant weren't available

They don't open their mouths when they do it though, but the sound still comes out. They have no mouth animation in the game. Rabbids are like 95% mouth animation.

So the TMNT movie premiered on CN today and I finally got to see it.

I actually thought it was pretty good and like it. I liked the dynamic between the turtles as well as the one between April and Casey. The fight between Leonardo and Raphael was awesome and looked great.

Only real problem I had was the ending seemed a bit rushed.

While racing light mechs, your Urbanmech comes in second place, but only because it ran out of ammo.

The ending seemed rushed, and the fact Shredder wasn't the main villain bugged me, It's really the kind of animation that doesn't get enough credit. Is it for children? Sure, but it dealt with some pretty mature themes like jealously and such.

I really wish they would continue that trend with the new films.

Shredder doesn't need to be the main villain for every single thing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle related. That's just dumb.

And they killed him off in the movies. Twice. There is absolutely no reason to retread the same old ground.

it's not really about treading old ground but he is a fan favorite, not saying he should be in the movie more just why people expected him to be
