This is the thread in which we talk about all things pink and floyd and the combinations thereof.

Favorite albums ? scenes from The Wall ? This is the place for them.

I'll start off. My favorite album is currently Animals, with Dark Side of the Moon at a close second. But my favorite all around song has to be Comfortably Numb.

    Nah, but i do love the floyd. Hemp seems like it would be uncomfortable to wear, at least to me.

    I'm not entirely sure why, but it just is. I understand that it's not normal.

    Though that version of Comfortably Numb is so awesome words can't describe it. Every time that pops up on my MP3 player I turn it up so loud that my ears ring for hours afterwards.

    Don't get me wrong, I love Pulse, and was a happy man when it finally came out on DVD last year. Questionable quality aside, the 5.1 rocks my socks and sometimes I just put it on with the TV off.

    I'm incredibly partial to Saucerful of Secrets and Piper at the Gates of Dawn, but that is mostly the Syd fanboy in me

    Animals really is quite a great album

    I have this like 8 disc bootleg collection I bought years ago for like $150 that has some live Animals stuff on it. The quality isn't all that great and it came in a big round tin container, but it is still amazing. It is called Variations on a Theme of Absence. I have since let a good buddy borrow it indefinitely, but it is such a great piece of Floyd work.

    I think my dad has that DVD somewhere around here. The wall shake with floyd when its on the good speakers.

    I myself gone into this kick last year of going around libraries finding random British Invasion compilations
    and cherry picking the ones I liked the best on a single cd
    I'm very happy with it

    Yeah i've seen that. its pretty damn cool how they sync up. I also saw one of a few songs on The Wall set to scenes from Alice in Wonderland. It didnt work as well as Dark Side over the Rainbow but it was still pretty cool.
