by the way, why do people (well...americans i suppose) balk at eating boiled tongue?
it's really tasty, and russians are far from the only people to regularly eat it
i would think tongue would come before testicles in terms of acceptability but apparently not
I ate tongue when I was fairly young because we were pretty poor and it was really cheap. I never really made the connection that it was the actual tongue of a cow, I thought it was just a name. Haven't had it in ages, but from what I remember it tasted pretty much the same as corned beef.
