ARGH! Indecision sucks. I really want to be all festive and giving and such, but there's a distinct lack of moolah on my part!

    ARRRRGH

Edit: Signed up before my logic fought away my giving-ness!

    Santa:
    L-XL clothes (UK sizes),
Googling me will get you nowhere (even though there is a www.[my name].com - that's not me!)
Googling my forum name will get you...me on this forum (and maybe my 360 GT)

I've not been excited about Christmas prsents for a couple of years! This is totally going to reimbue my Christmas Spirit
P.S. If I get nothing, I'm boycotting Christmas forever...no pressure!

    Doc's Lament
There are few who'd deny, at what I do I am the best
For my stalking is renowned far and wide
When it comes to books in the moonlit night
I lurk without ever even trying
With the slightest little Googling of my ghostlike charms
I have seen grown men give out a shriek
With the stroke of her brush, and a well-placed pwned
I have swept the very bravest off their feet

Yet year after year, it's the same routine
And I grow so weary of the lack of pics
And I, Doc, the Santa King
Have grown so tired of the same old thing
Oh, somewhere deep inside of these bones
    An emptiness began to grow
There's something out there, far from my home
A Brawl tourney that I'd never known

I'm a master of Santees, and a demon of Bunnies
And I'll ban you right out of your pants
To a guy in Turkey, I'm Mister beef jerky
And I've shiped throughout England and France
    And since I can't sticky, I can't be picky
    To perform moderator functions
No animal nor man shows spirit like I can
    With each gift post introduction

But Khoo here would ever understand
That the Santa King with the bleached grin
Would tire of his Bowser, if they only understood
He'd gay it all up if he only could

Oh, there's an empty place in my bones
That calls out for something unknown
The cheer and joy come year after year
Does nothing for these empty tears

When do we find out our santees?

Oh, and dear santa, Large Woot Shirts work excellently, medium or large hoodies are always fantastic, comic books / graphic novels are amazing and cheap video games are good too. Action figures are a great choice as well. Those little Marvel Universe ones that Juneau, Alaska doesn't have, those are nice.

I already have one part of a gift and I don't even know my Santee yet.

As for me, I wear medium clothes, I'm 6'2". I own all the gaming systems. All of them. I like music, but I'm picky as hell. My favorite bands are Tool (and as an extension A Perfect Circle) and The Mars Volta. I hate most music, and like what I consider unique things. Post-rock and progressive rock are good - I'd recommend against sending music because there's a 99% chance I'll hate it. Movies, my taste is more broad (I used to be a film major). My two favorite films are John Carpenter's The Thing, and Jame's Cameron's Aliens.

I'm fairly open to any kind of gift, anything not videogame or movie related might actually be a better bet, because I already own most everything I could want.

I am really almost 100% a lurker, so I've got to say something or my poor Santa will have nothing to go on.

Boring stuff about what I like!
    I'm a girl, age 24, software designer/engineer.
As far as non-gaming interests go, I like to write (poorly) and I love love love Classical history. That is, Romans and Greeks, Caesar and Alexander the Great, myths and monsters, etc.

Games I own/love the shit out of:
Every Legend of Zelda, seriously, I <3 Zelda
Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore
The 'main system' Mario games (I lack DS/gameboy ones, bad gamer, bad...)
ICO (my favorite game ever!), Out of this Word (aka Another World), Shadow of the Colossus
Earthbound, The older Final Fantasy games
The Dig, Myst, The Longest Journey
    Bioshock, Fallout 3, Stalker
    Multiplayer (co-opt FTW):
Castle Crashers, Legend of Zelda: Four Swords, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Left 4 Dead
Creatures (and other non-stupid artifical life games, so ... none of those crappy DS games)

    Systems I can play on:
xbox, xbox 360 (+ live account)
    NES, SNES, Gamecube, Wii
    Sega Genesis
DS, Gameboy SP, old b&w gameboy
    Computer (+ Steam)

... so, in general, I like story-driven games (not necessarily RPGs), adventure games/platformers, and co-op multiplayer games. I like retro games, and thus retro-game related /stuff/. I tend to like whatever iconic little monsters live in each game. I really like pixel art and try to make it (poorly). I like chiptunes/video-game inspired music but basically don't own any. I'm not a huge fan of figurines, but otherwise I like gamer shit - mugs, decor, etc. I like hats but want to avoid t-shirts if I can.

I love old games. If you want to go into a bargain bin and get a handful of ancient games, that is seriously a fine option for me. As long as they aren't sports games (yarg), or too awful. ;)

All that said: just trying to help, Santa, if you're stuck. You can send me anything, I am sure I will like it! This is my first Secret Santa ... I'm super excited. Thank you for your glorious gift-giving ways!

Like... A backloggery for comics? I really can't imagine something like that being useful, reading a comic isn't nearly as much of a timesink as the average video game.

I see what you mean though, and I don't know it. What do you have against using Amazon?

Ah I see, to give a peek into your tastes. Hmm that's interesting... I really enjoy reading comics and would like to buy more, but I can never be arsed to look around for something good. Also, the only place I can buy comics is online, so I can't actually read them in the store or something :(
