In addition to this I saw that new Christmas Carol movie.

It's biggest problem is that it isn't A Muppets Christmas Carol.

That would be my problem with it too

Or that one Christmas Carol with Patrick Stewart

Through out the entire Marley scene (while perfectly done in it own right) I could only think " Why isn't it this?"

it really is better if you've read the book, though

so if you're planning on seeing it, I would definitely recommend reading it first

Yeah I read the book a couple years ago. I also read his other book, "Them". (Or was it "They"?) I can't remember. I thought they were making a movie out of that one too.

I ended up seeing* this Saturday night.

    *
I actually fell asleep somewhere around the middle of the movie. The meandering plot and a few other factors apparently weren't really doing it for me. My gf tells me that it was enjoyable, but slow and likely should not have been a flick we saw in the theater.

I woke up all confused at the end of the movie. No idea how they all ended up on the same based or what the hell was going on. Barney reference? goat with bell that found water? Yea...these are all things I missed entirely.

Went and saw this today, merely OK.

A couple scenes got some pretty good laughs though.
    Dog hospital in particular.

    Also the scene with
Pendleton opening fire on the field

got a bit of a laugh from me at first, but then I felt bad considering recent events. D:
