How many people are actually going to be showing up for the draft? Is there a possibility to reschedule (maybe later in the day)? I'm not gonna lose sleep about it, but that would be gravy.
We could push it back if alot of other people feel the same way. The reason I scheduled it for the middle of the day is that it gives me something to do during work.
Yeah, I had to sit in a mindless manager's meeting for most of the draft, but I had my guys preranked so it worked out ok. I came in halfway through and I got a solid lineup and alot of extra pitching if anybody wants to make me an offer.

And how about Ben Sheets? The guy has had consistent arm problems for the last 2 years, and then in his first start back he pitches great and THEY LET HIM PITCH THE WHOLE GAME. Sounds like a smart idea considering the guy is injury prone. He's gonna make 2 more starts and then his arm is gonna fall off into his cereal one morning.
Carpenter and Schilling both tanked in probably the worst performances either one has had on opening day.

And how about Ben Sheets? The guy has had consistent arm problems for the last 2 years, and then in his first start back he pitches great and THEY LET HIM PITCH THE WHOLE GAME. Sounds like a smart idea considering the guy is injury prone. He's gonna make 2 more starts and then his arm is gonna fall off into his cereal one morning.
