Prologue
The Netherworld. A land known by many names. Hell, hades, purgatory, Brooklyn.
Long has it been since these dark realms were subject to the sadistic whims of its rulers: the Demon Overlords.
Ooh, scary.
These devilish fiends attempted to overstep their bounds, and assault the peaceful realm of Veldime.
Veldime, however, would not surrender its lands lightly, and repelled the demonic assault.
Then, all was well. Not to mention musical. Peace reigned, and merchandising sales tripled.
It is another land, and another time.
This is one of many Netherworlds. What sets this one apart is that it is home to the legendary Evil Academy.
Demons are not created equal, and Overlords do not come into existence overnight.
They are formed through years and eons of relentless study: that of the science of evil.
Committing foul acts of greater scope with massive, devastating effect is the aspiration of every true Student of Evil.
Cause suffering. Instigate terror. Fuel the horrors of the night with newer ones of your own creation.
This is the path to greatness, to the role of Evil Honor Student.
It is time for a new class to reign.
The Evil Academy has begun its admission proceedings.

The Fine Print
Despite the insanity some of you may be expecting, this will be a somewhat traditional game.
with a hell of a lot of other stuff layered over it
To that end, the first thing you should consider is...
Job Classes
Each player will be allowed to select a job class, which determines their specialization(not to mention stats, more on that (much) later). Demons and heroes alike are beings of special talents, as diverse as they are deadly.
Do consider them wisely before deciding.
Also, you do this in PRIVATE. VIA PM.
Ideally, you could send the decision to me, or to my good friend/alt Rosenqueen(if my PM box fills or something, but take your time, please).
But first, weigh your options, and choose wisely. The decision, once made, will be considered final.
Oh, and no pressure: but there is a cap on classes, so do try not to decide too leisurely.
Classes
Again, you should decide this class privately, and weigh it carefully. You do not have to decide this when !signing up, but please do so in bright colorful !lime.
Do consider them wisely before deciding.

Classes
Gender is strictly up to the player to determine for flavor purposes, and will not affect their stats or abilities.
Maybe just their popularity.
Each class will have stats determined by its role. There will be more on this provided when the game begins, but until then, consider their Pros & Cons wisely, as they are indicative of the flaws and strengths that class will be subject to.
Warrior (M) / Valkyrie (F): Specializes in physical beat downs, skilled with all manner of melee weaponry.
Ability: Physical Attack
PRO: High physical strength and defense.
CON: Unskilled at magic, and highly subjective to its effects.
Magician (M) / Witch (F): Specializes in sorcery of offensive and supportive varities.
Ability: Magical Attack, Magical Support
PRO: Peerless at offensive magic, mildly knowledgable with support, high magic defense.
CON: Non-existent physical offense and defense, can easily be struck down by physical attacks.
[strike]Gunner (M) / Archer (F)[/strike]: Skilled at long range attacks, striking undetected.
Ability: Firearm attack, with a specialized method of usage.
CAPPED!
PRO: Difficult to spot, can strike from a distance and leave no trace.
CON: Unskilled at physical and magical attacks, can be easily harmed by both.
Samurai (M) / Ronin (F): Swordmasters of nobility and balance.
Equally skilled with the blade at offense and defense.
Ability: Physical Attack / Guarding
PRO: Modest attack and defense. Can protect others and suffer minimal harm in their protected's stead.
CON: Reduced strength and accuracy, can be subject to increased damage from magical assault.
Ninja (M) / Kunoichi (F): Those of silence and swiftness. Strike from the shadows, fade into darkness.
Ability: Stealth Attack
PRO: Masters of stealth. Will not be traced by their victims unless they will it.
CON: Low strength and defense, only a well-placed strike will ensure their target's demise, and they are easily slain if discovered.
[strike]Medic (M) / Cleric (F)[/strike]: Sworn to protect and safeguard life, those of this role do not harm, only protect.
CAPPED!
Ability: Restoration, Revival
PRO: The only class capable of restoring damage and possibly lost life. Can also use mild supportive magic, if the caster desires.
CON: Little to no offensive skill, easily subject to harm.
Thief: (M / F) What's theirs is theirs, and so is what's yours. They specialize in, well, theft.
Ability: Theft
PRO: Swift and difficult to detect, the only class that can take the possessions of other players.
CON: Little offensive ability, less defensive. Could possibly prove skilled with easily used weaponry.
[strike]Shopkeep (M) / Merchant: (F)[/strike] Specialize in weaponry and gear of all sorts, and can get advance notice of forthcoming merchandise!
CAPPED!
Ability: Selection Hookup, Discount
PRO/CON: Average in all respects. Can use weapons or magic with average talent, and has average defense.
[strike]Scientist (M) / Professor (F)[/strike]: Without peer when it comes to raw intellect. Gifted at studying others and manipulating technology.
CAPPED!
Ability: Seer
PRO: The only class with insight into the activities and identities of others. Results and actions may vary.
CON: Unskilled with weapons and lacking in defense. May develop a knack with firearms, however.
Maybe just their popularity.
