i was wondering who was planning on playing in the smash bros. tourney. and what you character of choice is.

I plan on it, and my character is White Marth

    I'm up for some Smashy Smashy as well. Link's my guy, whichever color he's on when I bother to open my eyes. Made it to the pod finals in last years, so I'm ok, but I'm not super amazing either. Didn't make the pre-reg list for Smash though, and if I do super amazing at the Magic, I might have to miss the Smash... but whatever.

    Anyway, there are going to be like 300 people in the tournament, so this thread is gonna get huge. Damn you.

    As for me, I don't stick with one character, I plan on making this thing more interesting. Just watch out for Captain Falcon, Luigi and Yoshi.

    I call Zelda in HAWT! =P

    I just hope i can get in on it..seeing as there were no 'spaces' when i pre registerred...

    I also wonder if omeganauts are allowed to enter other tourneys.

    Omeganauts are allowed to enter, I think. The problem is that competing would effectively remove them from the Omegathon.

    So, anyone want to get together and play/practice before PAX? I live in Shoreline, WA (just north of Seattle), and I'm willing to hold a smashfest or meet at one that's less than 2 hours away.

    If you don't think you're that great at the game, all the better, my friends and I love teaching people :P. Although I only play one char, I know the rest well enough.

    Oh and yeah I'll be in the tournament as long as I get there early enough.

    I don't believe in the "top tier" for Smash, its been disproven over and over. I think that the game is pretty well balanced, I guess. No game is perfect without a patch I guess :(

    Shiek is DEFINITELY not top teir. Sheik isn't even good. Zelda is much better.

    Negative. If Shiek is top teir, then Zelda is the best character in the game, and I know that isn't true (Mr. G&W, duh)
