Well 6 episodes is 3 hours. Plus extras. So its the same price as a dvd movie for more content. Hell there anime series that length.

none of the dvd box sets i own have cost me more than 20 dollars, and most of them have more than 20 episodes. i own 8 seasons of the simpsons, and none of them cost me more than 20. that's, you know like what, 8 1/2 hours + commentary + extras. I hold that standard to all dvds and therefore refuse to buy a t.v. show that is not up to that standard
it's the reason why i didn't buy breaking bad when it came out
7 episodes for 40 dollars is not a good investment, although at least they're hour long episodes
I've been liking community more than 30 rock this season, but maybe that's just because community feels new and 30 rock seems to be using some samey jokes
