Thrift stores are great for VHS tapes, because you find things like this:
That reminds me of the time I was buying some clothes at Vinnies, and I discovered an awesome old VHS tape with three episodes of He-Man on it. I was like!! Cool!! So I put the clothes on the counter, then asked how much for the tape too. She was like, "Oh, you can have that one for free."
A couple years ago, at a 99 Cents Only store, they had a couple Battletoads VHS's. They were all the same, though, and only had the first episode on it. I bought one, but I don't know where it is...
The tagline? "Some mutants are more equal than others."
Yes, it is a movie about a guy with bioarmor that lives in his spine fighting people that mutate into power ranger monsters at will and it has a George Orwell reference in the tagline.
My family still has a cabinet full of VHS tapes, mostly Disney. They no longer have a VCR because their last one died and it's the twenty-first century and they weren't going to go out and face the embarrassment of buying a VCR.
When I was little and places still rented NES games, a local video store went out of business and my mom bought me a bunch of NES games from the place. The best of these was Jackal, which is a pretty fucking awesome game. I had a great childhood.

I really liked that movie.
I remember my dad fast-forwarded through the little police officer's entranced babbling about what gay dudes do to each other.
I think my dad is a bit of a homo-phobe.
Your monitor sucks.
That was both hilarious and disturbing.
I have that on DVD.
Complete absence of a Beta Machine, also all up ins.
