Anyone been to Woodfire Grill yet? Some coworkers went, said it was pricey, but awesome.
Then I got to meet Kevin from Top Chef at Cabbagetown chili. Seemed like a really nice guy.
e: Chin chin 2 on ponce for best chinese.

A magician gives you a ring that, when worn, will let you see the world as it truly is.
However, the ring will never leave your finger, and you will be unable to ever describe to another living person what you see.
Yeah, that's the place. I was never terribly impressed by it when I lived over there, and they jacked their prices when they glitzed up their interior, but the food never changed.
I went to Woodfire like 4 years ago. It was really good at the time, and not terribly pricey for upscale dining. Less than 50 a person.

Stale, do you ever cook lamb? I am obsessed with making rack of lamb and need somebody who can help me kidnap some from a petting zoo so we can set up a special pax dinner

I thought that the real foodie point of pride of this area was my dekalb farmers market
Am I wrong there

The indian place I like has these "lamb sliders" with a bit of deliciously seasoned lamb, some mango chutney, and some sort of greens between two little rounds of nan. I inhale those things

I went to savage pizza on the recommendation
it was okay but not quite what I was expecting
the comic book theme reminded me that I am easily distracted by clashing colors

Anyone know of any good sushi places? The one I go to off of Barrett parkway is only mediocre.

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

Oh man, the comic company was so great. But yeah, that whole area's kind of run down now. Well, not run down per se, but...there's basically no stores in that mall any more.
Whenever we discuss an Atlanta gathering, I never mention the Vortex, because it's simply assumed we go there on the way to the airport on the last day.

That whole area kind of lost my interest
The mall lost its bookstore
The comic company shut down up the street

It doesn't make you one, but it does reinforce your being one.

Yes, because since I was born elsewhere, I cannot associate myself with a city.
I've lived here 10 years. Clearly I'm just a tourist.

I mean, I like Savage fine, but there's a reason I hadn't been to it in like 5 years until the new one opened over here.
Which pizza place? I've lived in kennesaw for about 15 years now and I've never heard of such a place.

Sushi Mio on Roswell Rd. in Sandy Springs.
Great Quality, Low Prices, Excellent portion size.
Five Guys is pretty great for tasty burgers.
I mean, I'd probably do the same for a five guys burger right now, but still.
Elvis is clearly the best. Followed closely by the Hawaiian.
