Hey,
I've been googling and not come up with much so thought I'd try my luck here. I'm after some cheap-ish bluetooth headsets that can be paired together. I understand bluetooth range is pretty limited, but I'm not after anything considerable.
The situation is:
I do a fair bit of indoor rock climbing (and hopefully soon outdoor), most of the walls are around 15m high, so just about within the realm of bluetooth's reach. When the centre I'm in gets busy it's really difficult to speak to the person holding the rope for me so we figured we'd try some headsets, I mean part of why we climb each week is because it's a social thing!
Most bluetooth headsets are small enough to not be a hassle when climbing and obviously being I'm quite high up I don't want anything too expensive in case it takes a dive!
Up to now I've found the Sound ID SM100 which looks like it WOULD fit the bill, if anywhere at all sold them.
Does anyone have any alternative headset suggestions? Or failing that does anyone have any alternative hardware they'd suggest? I debated radio but the equipment is too big and bulky.

Bluetooth is cool and all, but I wouldn't rely on it in a situation where your health and safety is at stake.
Unfortunately way too big, I'd do myself an injury if I slipped and had that on my side/back.
They're less for safety reasons and more purely for conversation. If there's only two of us going we don't get an awful lot of "shooting the shit" done when one of us is half way up a wall. I mean, we're safe enough without them.
