On my way home from VI form, I was on the bus behind two 50 year old geordie women who were discussing what they were going to do with their gimps tonight. Fucking hell it was graphic.

And last month on my way up to scotland on a train, a middle aged transvestite sat opposite me. It wasnt even subtle, the guy looked like Brian Blessed in a skirt. I've got nothing against transvestites, but this guy started talking to me and being fucking creepy, so I got off a stop early and transferred trains because I swear to god he was trying to play footsie with me in his size 15 heels.

Fuck. That. Shit.

Am I just unlucky, or is public transport just a hive for weirdos?

    I get public transport constantly

    I have issues with kids more than anything else, the only transvestites I've encountered have been very quiet and polite

    Oh and there's this one thirty-something moron who hangs with the 18-24s on the college bus but acts as if he's 14, and a douchebag 14 at that

    I haven't had to ride the bus for many years which I am grateful for since my friends tell me that there is no shortage of drunk, smelly, and sketchy characters most everyday.

    That post is boring.

    I ride the bus all the time!

    This one time, this transvestite person was mean muggin me. So what I did is I stepped up to him/her and said, "You lookin to start something mister lady?"

    We locked eyes for a good forty seconds and she/he said... "Nope."

    Then I sat back down relieved that I was not stabbed that day. 6500+ days w/out getting stabbed!

    Driving is horrible and stressful and sweaty.

    Melbourne's public transport isn't so bad if you don't mind someone else standing in your personal space during peak hour, and don't mind trains shutting down on hot days. And you never want to travel anywhere other than to the CBD; hey, you want to travel from the outer east to the outer north? Fuck you, here's a 2+ hour journey.
