4 police shot dead in coffee shop near seattle

Four sheriff's deputies were fatally shot Sunday in what police described as an ambush in a coffee shop near Seattle.
The Pierce County deputies were sitting in the coffee shop in Lakewood, Washington, before the start of their shifts, reading on their computers, when the shooting occurred, said Sheriff's Department spokesman Ed Troyer.

on one hand, fuck the pohlice

on the other, people should not be shooting up random people, regardless of their occupation

    Who's to say these cops were bad?

    Sucks that this can happen, but I guess there's a very small chance you could die whenever you go in public.

    I used to live in Lakewood. Has a lot of soldiers from Ft. Lewis and McChord airbase living there.

    There was some sort of shooting around my apartment building the other night. It was really weird. There would be like, four or five quick shots one right after another, then nothing for 10-15 minutes, then four to five again, then again. The police wailed by a few times, but I never found out what happened.

    The last person to shoot a cop in Florida got about 90 bullets pumped into him on a traffic stop, Godfather style.

    The sheriff here was pretty hardcore about it. The reporter asked him "why did you shoot the suspect [however many times it was] times?"

    The sheriff replied "Because we ran out of bullets".

    Yeah, I heard about this. It seems like it might be related to that SPD cop getting killed last month. They caught that guy after shooting him in the spine.
