    Sounds good.

    Been raiding Uwajimaya's again, eh?

    Hells yes.

I also grabbed some mixed vegetables which include lotus root - I've been wanting to try it for years.

If I was rich I would just grab as much random stuff there as I could carry on the bus and see what it all tasted like. Alas, they're fairly expensive.

Also they package the fuck out of some things, which makes me feel guilty.

Now to steam some chicken and vegetable bao.

    Cheese mushi cake?

It's basically super light sponge cake.

It's like if a Twinkie's outside was made of real food.

Huh. I didn't know they sold those in America. Do you guys have curry bread yet?

Pretty sure I've seen it before. Mind you I live in Seattle, which has a lot of international influence. Gigantic Asian grocery stores, Russian coffee shops, European import cheese and deli stores, etc.

If you go for just raw ingredients, though, it's well worth it.

I'd recommend them if you like yakiniku types of things. They have good single-serving portion sizes, so just add some onion, mushroom, and bell pepper and you've got some good makings for yakiniku at home.

Reading my receipt I got the following:

    1/3 lb of Alkmaar soap
    Amandopondo
    Tisty Tosty
    Sex Bomb
    Sakura

...and I guess apparently a $6 gift box, too. I never noticed that. I asked if they gift wrapped, and they said yeah and had me choose my paper and ribbon and stuff... I assumed it was complimentary!

Oh well, it is very nicely wrapped and all done up and stuff.

But I'm surprised they didn't inform me that I'd have to pay for it to be boxed/wrapped.

They won't let me buy their tunes.

False false false. But you have to get it fresh, otherwise the fat dries and it's not as good.

Kobe doesn't do well aged, unlike other varieties of beef.

Jewcar - Traditional yakiniku is really good, as is shabushabu. I don't know if there are any good yakiniku or shabushabu places in Seattle, but I'll look around. A good shabushabu is wonderful, especially with the cold-wet winters we get here.

Incensed by the failure of your public education system, and inspired by the PICTURE OF THANATOS, you lift the COMPUTER over your head and SHAKE VIGOROUSLY.

You then throw the COMPUTER into the next room.

There is a LOUD NOISE, but due to your ILLITERACY you are not able to read what it is.

That makes no sense. Kobe isn't in America.

Some cattle ranchers in Texas (I think) purchased some of the cows from Kobe, Japan and brought them over and started selling them as American Kobe beef. It doesn't have near the marbling of real Kobe beef or anything like that.

Oh, BTW, don't get that American Kobe beef shit.

Wagyu beef is really good too, though, considering how far the Kobe has to travel. The only place outside of Japan that I'm willing to get Kobe beef in is Hawai'i, 'cause it's close enough for overnight shipping from Japan to be somewhat reasonable price-wise. Otherwise, I get Wagyu.

Because there is one piece of official art that doesn't look that good, one shot of a cutscene that is at a bad angle and then one regular portrait but it has a dialogue box in the way but it's transparent so it wouldn't really be a problem but it's a really low quality picture so it's not even really worth the trouble : (

There is a CRESCENT-SHAPED HOLE in the PICTURE OF THANATOS.

However, there is no PENIS in your INVENTORY.

You recall seeing a COCK in the STRANGE ROOM.
