Hey DUE you should make another character for that PbP thread to give yourself a better chance to get in, you are allowed two submissions. Probably some leader class, or if you don't want to do that, an invoker or something. There are not a lot of leaders submitted, so that's probably your best bet. You have like half an hour to come up with something.
I love the crowd of people I play with. Jumping up out of your seat and yelling is a very frequent and welcome occurrence.
Right now my christmas list has Bang! The Bullet! edition, Dominion, and the Penny Arcade Card Game (mainly because I PA).
I hope you're not the kind of person who insists on trying to keep your cards in good condition, cause Dominion is all about the shuffling and you should accept that your cards are going to get roughed up, fast.
Also save yourself time and buy the expansion set too, cause increased variety is awesome and I've yet to meet a person who didn't like the game, so you should have heaps of people to play with.
Oh, and another random set of suggestions:
Wiz-War - dated but still a decent amount of fun, if your idea of fun is trying to find the most elaborate ways of dicking over your opponents. This has led to arguments and sadness with friends of mine though.
Bohnanza - somewhat simple but again, complicated enough that it can get interesting, with plenty of opportunities for bartering and drama. Another good party game for people not up for super complicated games.
Um... it's not really that close, I think. Geography is a definite weak point of mine. Kobe is northwest of Kyoto right?
Hell if I know, I figured you had to be closer since you're at least on Honshu... and yes, if there is indeed a bilingual version of Apples to Apples, I may have to search as well... but so much of the humor is based on knowledge of western, especially American figures, so I'm not sure how well that would translate.
