i'm well aware this movie places itself after the 3rd movie. as well as the film acknowledging that the 3rd movie happened.
however, from a fan standpoint, i choose to jokingly say that i wish the 3rd movie never happened, thus making this new CG one the 3rd movie.
did i paint it simple enough for you guys who cant seem to grasp the notion that i completely understood what you guys were saying, yet i still said what i did for the effect of humor, to which i'm sure babyeatingjesus will appreciate at least.

I understood what you were saying, but I liked the 3rd movie.
This movie was good. You do have to pull through some slow parts but it's worth it. Also the movie seems to rush through some stuff. For example
There are 13 monsters that need to be trapped. But the movie gives each monster an average of 25 seconds screen time each. Some get like 1.5 seconds.
Little red guy was really cool though.
Yeah, I don't know why they chose thirteen. I mean, it's a cool monster, but it's a number more suited to TV shows.
They should've got for six or seven at the most. Then each one could have had sufficient face time. I'm pretty sure we didn't even see all the monsters, which is a shame because they all had rather interesting design.
