One man interviewed on the BBC confessed to committing burglaries before Christmas so he'd have board and a hot seasonal dinner instead of sleeping rough.
But then, according to the media, our most hardened murderers are living it up with televisions and luxury furniture whilst our white-collar caught-in-a-tricky-situation fathers-of-two end up in the worst of crowded cells.

Isn't there a play by O. Henry or someone along those lines? . . .
The KotORs are some of the small number of RPGs I've managed to finish.
I wouldn't mind a sequel to Jade Empire, too.
Jade Empire was better in retrospect
At the time that I was playing it, all I could see were the similarities to their previous games
But two years later, scenes from the game keep cropping up in my head and I think how satisfying they were. Plus the romances had a kiss! I'm looking forward to the PC version.
Now for a game that really sticks in your mind, you can't beat Bloodlines. Which is probably my second favourite RPG
No -- I am the lone voice of reason in a sea of madness. I am sorry you people aren't as brilliant and perceptive as I am.
Shut it, skank.

I think Shadow Hearts was one of my favorite JRPGs ever (and that's saying a lot, because I love JRPGs). Except for the fucking Japanese destroyer bit, because most of my characters were dangerously underpowered. They seriously gained like 3 levels in 5 or so battles.

I wanted to try that, but I heard that it'd probably murder my computer, and mine was weak.
The irony is that when I first bought it, it was choppy and ran like hell but I was able to play it because I am naturally very patient and didn't seem to mind the ten-minute load times.
When I upgraded I thought 'heeeey now to see how sexy it looks!' It ran beautifully...and gave me such bad motion sickness I've not been able to replay it.
Honestly, during that scene my heart was pounding and adrenaline was surging through my body, and it was all I could not to keep a steady hand on the controls. I could barely think.
The SW thread is reminding me of how good the KotOR games are
I hope they'll make a third
Oh hell no -- those games were hot garbage. Their popularity honestly befuddles me.
Do you just not like RPGs?

sometimes I wonder why the hell I'm doing postgrad and didn't just walk into any number of high-paying jobs when I graduated...my brain has actually turned to mush...stupid ancient Greeks, why couldn't they just use English!

We should just cut off criminal's hands. After all, they might use them to commit crimes.

Fine!
I get the cool house, and cool everything though. Everything!
8-)
Do it online.
Does that help your motivation any?
I hope they'll make a third
Me too!
NWN2 hasn't quite grabbed me the same way, and Broken Sword 4 isn't quite up to scratch, either
Both are still good...I've just lost my passion
Me three. However, I hope LucasArts will actually let the devs finish the game this time.
edit: It's in Communication. I'm currently working in PR, but I don't think I like it.

The world'd hear the thousands of cries of SQUEEEEEEEEEEE from fanboys and fangirls if that turns out to be the case

God, did that thing trigger "flight".
Edit: Bloodlines.

My ex managed to kill it!
But I didn't even dare try.

I get far too emotionally involved in good games.
Scary shit. I it!
How can I forget
Or the snuff films
Those 'creatures' - they didn't scare me as the hotel did, but I've never felt my skin crawl so much before
Never alone.
