WoW Wiki wrote:
A profession is a large trade-oriented set of skills that player characters may incrementally learn in order to gather, make, or enhance items that can be used in World of Warcraft gameplay. Professions are learned from a trainer (or sometimes from a book at higher levels), for a cost. Professions can be learned regardless of their character faction, race, or class (although there are a few class skills that are just like a profession.)

Specific trade skills within a profession allow you to do specific things — craft a specific item or add a specific enhancement. These are learned from the profession trainers, from recipes, or occasionally directly from a quest trainer. Each profession starts out with a few specific trade skills.

Through practice, a character gains skill levels within the profession and becomes more capable within that profession. Note the distinction, professional skills are capabilities within a profession, whereas professional skill level is a progression metric which is used as a prerequisite for professional skills and as a prerequisite for the ability to gather specific items within a gathering profession.

* Multi-gains will be added, while you level up your trade skills, rare items will give you more points as you skill up. (Rare items will give you 5 points for example, while green bracers will only give one)
* Gathering should be a little more fun.
* Engineering is a very fun tradeskill, but it's either amazing or it sucks and everybody drops it. More convenient items like Jeeves or Wormhole Generator will be added to the profession in the future to get back to the roots of Engineering.
* Fishing will also have some big changes, no details yet but it's going to be more fun.

Fun!

Patch 3.3 changes:
*Enchanting

o Enchant Weapon - Black Magic: This enchantment now sometimes increases haste rating for the caster rather than inflicting the caster's target with a damage-over-time effect. It is also now triggered by landing any harmful spell rather than inflicting damage with a spell.
o Enchant Weapon - Unholy: This enchantment now inflicts Shadow damage in addition to its original effect.

* First Aid

o The training costs for most bandages have been reduced.

* Fishing

o The all-new Kalu'ak Fishing Derby, a test of fishing skill with a healthy dash of luck, has come to Northrend! Every Wednesday beginning at 8 PM players can try to catch the elusive Blacktip Shark. Elder Clearwater sits in Dalaran for one hour awaiting the return of the quickest, most experienced fisher to bring him this shark. This champion fisher will be rewarded in-kind for returning with the first catch. Those who aren't able to return with the first catch will still receive just reward for getting the Blacktip Shark to Elder Clearwater before he takes his leave. It is said that these sharks' favorite meal are the bite-sized Pygmy Suckerfish. Perhaps a hook in their waters will do the trick.

* Mining

o Enchanted Thorium: This ability now uses the Mining skill and is learned from trainers at a skill level of 250.

New fishing Tourney.

Patch 3.2.2 changes:
* The blacksmiths of Orgrimmar grew tired of running to the rear of the city to craft items and have installed a new anvil & forge at the General Store in the Valley of Strength.

* Engineering

o The Mind Amplification Dish no longer changes the appearance of your helmet.

* Inscription
o Added a recipe for Runescroll of Fortitude. This item grants a stamina buff equal to the highest rank of Power Word: Fortitude (untalented) to all players in the raid. The effect of this runescroll is exclusive with other stamina scrolls and Power Word: Fortitude.

* Leatherworking

o Added a recipe for Drums of Forgotten Kings. These drums increase all stats by 8% for all players in a raid. The effect of these drums is exclusive with Blessing of Kings.
o Added a recipe for Drums of the Wild. These drums grant a buff equal to the highest rank of Mark of the Wild (untalented) to all players in a raid. The effect of these drums is exclusive with Mark of the Wild.

Patch 3.2 changes:
* Alchemy

o All stackable potions now stack to 20.
o Added a new pattern for Flask of the North, usable by players with a high alchemy skill. The recipe is purchased from Northrend trainers. Flask of the North increases your spell power, attack power or strength for 1 hour and is usable in Arenas. It is not consumed when used.
o Endless Healing Potion and Endless Mana Potion no longer usable in arenas. Amount of health and mana has been increased, and the cooldown reduced.
o Five new epic gem transmute recipes are available from the Northrend trainer. The recipe for transmuting a Cardinal Ruby can be learned from a quest, given by Linzy Blackbolt in Dalaran.
o The Mixology benefits from Northrend elixirs and flasks have been increased.
o Rage potions can now be used by druids.

* Cooking

o Blackened Dragonfin Recipe: Now only requires 1 Dragonfin Angelfish.
o Chef's Hat is now superior quality and allows the chef to cook faster.
o Increased the drop rate for recipes from the Outland Daily Cooking quests.
o Increased the chance to get a bonus Dalaran Cooking Token from the Spice Bag.
o The recipe for Captain Rumsey's Lager can now be randomly found in the quest reward Crate, Barrel, or Spice Bag from the cooking dailies.

* Enchanting

o Values on Northrend ring enchants increased.

* Engineering

o Added a new Mind Amplification Dish attachment for helmets, allowing engineers to control other humanoid targets. Some restrictions apply: does not work in Arenas, dish sometimes reverses targets, unable to stack with other stat-improving head enchantments and makes your helmet look... stylish? This attachment provides a passive bonus of 45 stamina.
o Added a schematic for a Goblin Welding Beam that can heal friendly mechanical or vehicle units.
o Alarm-o-Bot functionality changed. Materials required reduced.
o Box of Bombs no longer requires an anvil.
o The Cobalt Frag Bomb now incapacitates enemies within a 3-yard radius. A short cast time was added, but they are usable while moving. This change applies to any Cobalt Frag Bombs already created. The existing recipe now makes 3 at a time.
o Engineers can now learn to create a portable Wormhole Generator for Northrend. The Wormhole allows them to travel to different locations in Northrend, although the locations are sometimes in dangerous places.
o Flying Machine: The level requirement needed to learn how to build and use this machine has been reduced to level 60, down from level 70, and the engineering skill level reduced to 300, down from 350. Material costs reduced.
o Gnomish Engineers and Goblin Engineers can now switch profession specializations for a fee.
o Increased benefits from Hyperspeed Accelerators, Hand-Mounted Pyro Rocket and Reticulated Armor Webbing glove modifications.
o Increased the passive bonuses provided by Springy Arachnoweave, Flexweave Underlay and Nitro Boosts.
o Mote Extractor now has innate tracking for gas clouds while it is in your inventory. Tracking of gas clouds has been removed from goggles.
o A new repair bot has been added, and his name is Jeeves. He is the ultimate gentleman robot butler, able to perform all the mundane tasks of repairing, selling and buying junk for your entire raid. Additionally, he can open bank boxes for skilled engineers (350+). Jeeves is not destroyed when used, but due to pressing engagements, can only be summoned once an hour. The schematic for this handsome robot was said to be hidden within the parts of another robot - hoping to be found by an engineer one day.
o Nitro Boosts: Now have a 5-second duration.
o Potion Injectors now increase the amount gained by 25% when used by engineers. Quantity produced by recipes for Runic Healing and Mana Injectors has been increased.
o Reduced the materials needed to create all engineering Dragonlings, and reduced their cooldowns, although they still cannot be used in Arenas.
o Significantly reduced the cooldown on MOLL-E.
o The Spynocular belt attachment has been changed to a Frag Belt. The Frag Belt periodically produces a Cobalt Frag Bomb that can be used from the belt every 6 minutes (never runs out!).
o A Steam-Powered Auctioneer has been added to the Dalaran Like Clockwork engineering shop, allowing access to one's faction Auction House. The Steam-Powered Auctioneer was programmed with a superiority chip, and will only interact with Grand Master engineers.
o Transporter devices are no longer classified as trinkets and can be used directly from your inventory.
o The Ultrasafe Bullet Machine and Saronite Arrow Maker schematics have been simplified to create a full stack of the appropriate ammunition. No longer requires an anvil. Reduced the materials required to make this ammunition.
o World Enlarger: Cooldown reduced to 15 minutes, down from 1 hour.

* Fishing

o Players with 300 or higher cooking have a chance to find a Waterlogged Recipe in the Bag of Fishing Treasures awarded by the Northrend fishing dailies. This item can be traded to other players and rewards several Dalaran Cooking Rewards when turned in.

* Herbalism

o Increased healing from Lifeblood (Rank 6).
o Lifeblood now scales slightly with maximum health. No longer affected by global cooldown.

* Inscription

o Added a new Glyph of Claw for young feral druids who haven't yet obtained Mangle. Scribes can learn this glyph from the trainer.
o Master's Inscriptions increased.

* Jewelcrafting

o Dragon's Eye gems stat bonuses increased. In addition, these gems are no longer prismatic and must be matched to the appropriate colored socket to activate an item's socket bonus.
o New recipes have been added for cutting epic gems and can be purchased using Dalaran Jewelcrafter's tokens.
o Icy Prism now has a chance of yielding an epic gem.
o Raw epic gems can be obtained via the following means:
+ Prospecting Titanium Ore
+ Alchemy transmutations
+ Purchased with honor
+ Purchased with Emblems of Heroism

* Leatherworking

o Added recipe for Heavy Knothide Leather to leatherworking trainers (rather than a vendor recipe). Changed several recipes to use Heavy Knothide Leather instead of regular Leather.
o Fur Lining values increased.

* Mining

o Toughness (Rank 6) provides more stamina.
o In addition to the normal requirements, mining deposits in Northrend now require a minimum character level of 65 to mine.

* Skinning

o Master of Anatomy (Rank 6) provides more critical strike rating.

* Tailoring

o Embroideries improved.

You're holding him up!

Patch 3.1 changes (Quick link to low-level mat changes):
* Alchemy

o All flasks now last 1 hour. To compensate, all flask recipes will provide 2 flasks for the same material cost.
o Blackmouth Oil and Fire Oil no longer require a vial.
o Elixir of Greater Firepower now grants spell power to all schools of magic.
o Flasks now stack to 20, and their vendor sell prices have been reduced to lower the Auction House deposits.
o Increased the health granted by the Flask of Stoneblood.
o Northrend flasks will be converted to mixtures. This includes the Flask of Stoneblood, Flask of Pure Mojo, Flask of Endless Rage, and Flask of the Frost Wyrm. Mixtures can create 2 flasks of the corresponding type. This allows players who stockpiled Northrend flasks to convert them to the new system without any loss.
o The Crazy Alchemist Potion is now correctly increased by Alchemist Stones.
o The Mercurial Stone is no longer required as a tool for alchemists. It is instead an uncommon quality bind-on-equip trinket.
o You can now sometimes find Alchemist's Caches from bosses in Ulduar. Only players with an Alchemy skill of 425 or higher can loot these secret caches.

* Blacksmithing

o Added a new recipe for the Titansteel Spellblade, an epic one-handed caster dagger, available from trainers.
o Added new recipes for epic gear, found rarely on Ulduar bosses. These recipes are unbound and can be traded.
o Most of the recipes in the 1-300 skill range of blacksmithing have received major stat updates to make them more useful.
o Added a new recipe for the Titansteel Spellblade.
o The Titanium Plating shield enchantment now reduces the duration of disarm effects by 50% as well as increasing your block value.

* Cooking

o A new recipe has been added to cooking trainers for making Black Jelly, using several Borean Man 'O War as ingredients. While it looks disgusting, it restores more health and mana than the highest level food.
o Flint and Tinder is no longer necessary for creating a campfire. You're just that resourceful!
o Grub now sells the Dig Rat Stew recipe to players who completed the quest.
o Ingredients such as Spices, Apples, and the like have been removed from most cooking recipes.
o Players no longer need to complete the Clamlette Surprise quest to gain Artisan cooking. The quest now offers the unique recipe, Clamlette Magnifique. If you already completed the quest, you can visit Dirge Quickcleave in Gadgetzan to learn this recipe (for free).
o Prospector Khazgorm, found in Bael Modan in southern Barrens, now sells the recipe for Dig Rat Stew to the Alliance.
o Several Northrend recipes were given greater skill up ranges to make it easier to reach 450 cooking skill.
o You no longer need to learn cooking from books. The trainers have finally done their reading and are able to teach you the same thing.

* Enchanting

o Added two new recipes for enchanting staves with spell power, available from Vanessa Sellers in Dalaran City.
o Greatly increased the drop rate of recipes found in pre-Lich King dungeons and raids.
o Several recipes in the 250-300 skill range have been rebalanced, and the reagent requirements have been reduced.
o Some enchants now have level restrictions. Note: the enchant is never removed from the item to which it's applied, however, players no longer receives its benefit until they reach the required level. Any enchants modified in this way have had their tooltips updated.
o The enchanting interface now correctly sorts grey recipes by skill difficulty.

* Engineering

o Added a new Reticulated Armor Webbing engineering enchant that increases the armor on plate gloves.
o Added a new Springy Arachnoweave engineering enchant that grants passive spell power in addition to turning your cloak into a parachute.
o Engineers can now obtain the schematics for Lil' Smoky and the Pet Bombling from certain creatures found in Gnomeregan. Specialized Gnomish or Goblin engineers can obtain both schematics equally. The repeatable quest that used to randomly grant these schematics has been disabled.
o Flexweave Underlay now grants passive agility in addition to its normal effect.
o Gnomish X-Ray Specs have a new model.
o Nitro Boosts now grant passive critical strike rating in addition to their speed boost.
o Nitro Boosts now make you drop PVP flags when used, as well as preventing you from picking them up while the effect is active.

* Fishing

o A new (and very rare) special mount can now be caught from Northrend fishing pools.
o New fishing dailies are now offered from Marcia Chase in Dalaran City!
o Players are no longer required to do the Nat Pagle, Angler Extreme quest to gain Artisan fishing. The quest now offers a special superior-quality fishing pole instead. If you already completed the quest, you can visit Nat Pagle in Dustwallow Marsh to receive this new fishing pole.
o The time needed to catch fish has been reduced.
o You can now fish anywhere, regardless of skill. Every catch has the potential for fishing skill gains, but you are likely to catch worthless junk in areas that are too difficult for your skill.
o You can now fish in Wintergrasp, and the fishin' is good!
o You no longer need to learn fishing from books. The trainers have finally done their reading and are able to teach you the same thing.

o Added around 50 new glyph recipes. These new recipes can be obtained from Books of Glyph Mastery found as world drops on Northrend monsters. Reading a Book of Glyph Mastery randomly discovers one of the newly-added recipes.
o Glyph icons have been updated so it is easy to distinguish between classes.
o Players will now learn 3 recipes the very first time they perform Northrend Inscription Research. This does not apply to players who have already discovered recipes from Northrend Inscription Research (sorry).

o Added a recipe for Shifting Twilight Opal to the daily jewelcrafting vendor.
o Added recipes for superior-quality PVP rings and necklaces to Northrend jewelcrafting trainers.

o Several lower-level items crafted by leatherworkers have received major changes to make them more appealing.
o Shadowskin Gloves and Dusky Boots no longer require Shadowcat Hide to create, but instead require an equal quantity of Shadow Silk. Shadowcat Hides can no longer be obtained from skinning.

* Mining

o The Lightweave tailoring enchant now sometimes grants a temporary spell power bonus instead of dealing direct damage to your target.
o Several lower-level items crafted by tailors have received major changes to make them more appealing.

WotLK general changes:
With the impending release of Wrath of the Lich King comes many changes to profession, including a new one:

Gathering

Herbalism: Besides becoming a very good money-maker due to Inscriptions, herbalism also receives Lifeblood (a free, instant cast HoT)
Mining: Toughness - a minor HP boost (300 at 375, 500 at 450)
Skinning: Master of Anatomy - a minor critical strike rating boost (15 at 375, 25 at 450)

Production

Alchemy: Good News, Bad News deal for this one. Good news is that you get Arena-usable pots and Mixology, a passive perk that increases the power and duration of Elixirs and Flasks substantially. Bad news is that your profits magins will be hurting due to the new '1 potion per fight' mechanic.
Blacksmithing: You get to make gem meta-sockets for your gloves and bracers and BoE belt sockets for everyone else.
Engineering: Blizzard has moved away from having most of your toys take up a equipment slot; now they just take up an enchant slot (which includes your belt.) You can also craft your goggles at an early level then you could in BC. Finally, a portable mailbox, a Swiss Army Knife, X-ray goggles, a +81 Stamina or +63 SP trinket, and a goddamn BoE motorcycle rounds out the goodies list.
Leatherworking: Cheap Fur Lining enchants for your bracers and Armor Kits for your legs.
Tailoring: Besides BoP enchants for your pants and cloak and Northern Cloth Scavenging (a passive perk that increases Northrend cloth drops,) you get to make a flying carpet mount.
Jewelcrafting: Besides BoP colorless gems and socketable trinkets, you also get Gem Perfection (a passive perk that gives you a chance to cut uncommon quality Northrend gems into perfect gems with slightly better stats.) Your profession is also the first Primary one to get daily quests.

Services

Enchanting: With the help of an inscriptor, you can make Scrolls of Enchantment to put up on the AH. Also, you now get upgradeable BoP wands.

Inscription:
Inscription is the brand-new-to-3.0.2 profession. It doesn't focus on gear creation (though it has a number of BoP offhand items), which makes sense because Blacksmithing, Tailoring and Leatherworking pretty much have that covered. It functions instead on enhancing spells and talents. All players have access to Glyph slots, three major and three minor. You get your first major and minor at level 15, second major at 30, second minor at 50, third minor at 70 and third major at 80. To add a glyph to a slot, you must be near a Lexicon of Power; if you don't know where one is, ask a guard where the Inscription Trainer is. Inscription is functionally very similar to Enchanting and Jewelcrafting: much like enchants and gems can be replaced at any time at the cost of the loss of the original, glyphs can be replaced if you're willing to forfeit them. To create glyphs, Scribes must use ink and parchment; pigments are used to create ink, and are obtained by milling herbs in stacks of five.

In short, inscriptors can enchant your abilities and spells. For BoP crap, they can make Scrolls of Recall (an extra hearth on a separate cooldown) and Shoulder Enchants.

Secondary

Cooking: Besides eatables that allow for critter control and beast/humanoid tracking, you can now make Mage-style Feast for party-wide dining.
Fishing: Still a pain in the ass to level, unfortunately (Blizzard only boosted the skillup rate for testing in beta.) However, the Tuskarr faction has a new epic fishing pole to grind rep for. Also, Dalaran is a magical wonderland for fisherman.
First Aid: Wondering where to learn Heavy Frostweave Bandage? That book's now a BoP world drop item. :b

    There's one change to Enchanting to the 3.3 I didn't add, but there is now an option to directly roll for Disenchanted mats without having your DEer handle them. Note that you'll still need an enchanter with the proper skill level in order for this to happen.

    Also, I remember seeing that Arctic Furs will now be available for purchase at the Dal LW guy for 10 Heavy Borean Leather.

    I wish the new fishing contest wasn't exactly when my guilds raid starts. I'm guessing someone will win within the first 5 minutes so it may not be that bad.
    a test of fishing skill with a healthy dash of luck

    That probably means if you don't get it within your first 10 casts you might as well give up. Considering my luck when it comes to fishing it'll be a long time before i win.

    This makes me happy. I powerlevelled enchanting over the weekend to 400. I had been saving greens a blues in the 60+ range for a few weeks so 300+ wasn't as expensive. Overall, it was about 2200g total, mostly because people gouged on things like eternium and arcanite rods. Oh well, I paid for the convenience and it wasn't too bad.

    On Enchanting, my friend seems to think that if he takes his character with enchanting on a dungeon run and people say DE an item he feels the enchanter or (himself) should keep the mats at the end of the run and not give them out after the final boss. His argument is that since he spent the money and time to level the tradeskill it's like his ability to farm goods in the instance such as a skinner gets the skins, the miners get the nodes, etc.

    I can agree with this to a degree, but something about it still seems odd, what do you other enchanters think?

    Enchanting is different than mining or herbalism because enchanters are using an item which everyone can roll on and sell for money, whereas you can only use an ore node if you're a miner.

    However, I've always felt that the enchanter should get to keep 1 shard for themselves if they wanted.

    Bottom line, if everyone is agreeing to allow someone to DE then the enchanter is obliged to let everyone roll for a shard if they want. It's their shard as much as the enchanters since they agreed to let him take the item to disenchant. It's a binding contract as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't agree to let someone DE everything to keep it for themselves. I'd rather have the 5-15g than absolutely nothing.

    He's a prick. If they want to all roll greed and he wins the item outright, then sure he can keep the mats. If they specifically ask him to DE the item to be subsequently rolled on or whatever the process is these days, then he shouldn't be keeping the mats. Sure he paid to level enchanting, but the instance is a 5 man effort. His ability to DE unwanted items is a convenience factor only. If he wants to be a dick and say he won't DE peoples stuff, that's his choice, but he probably won't be very popular.

    I guess you could get technical and say people should split ores, herbs, and skins. Nobody ever plays that way though. I don't know why it's different. Probably because not every instance has ores, herbs, etc. Every instance has loot, and that would be an inherent advantage if all enchanters got said mats automatically.

    As an enchanter, I agree we kinda get the shaft providing the service to the (often very ungrateful) group, but so does the guy that provides the feast once in a while for a group, or someone using drums.

    If you don't want to share your skills with your group you can always just greed I guess.

    I have no real problem with the new disenchant option, but before it (as in, up until today) I never DEd for groups. We all rolled greed, and if someone wanted me to DE something for them, they could trade it to me and pay a DE fee.

    Does anyone know if the change to fishing means that the fisher will always catch something, but it will be appropriate for their fishing skill, or if everyone will just catch the same stuff regardless of skill.

    Is there another change in 3.3 or do you mean how it is currently?

    Current situation: You will always catch *something*, regardless of skill. The lower your skill, the more useless gray vendor junk you'll get (tangled fishing line, sickly fish etc). You can skill up on catching gray junk. Even with very low skill you'll catch a fish from the pool you are fishing in / the daily item eventually.

    I meant the change in 3.3. When I said "something" I should have said "some fish".

    This is more a long my lines of thinking. Anyone could have taken and vendored the loot, not just anyone could have mined that node, or skinned the beast. If an Enchanter is willing to DE and give everyone a better shot at more gold then that's cool, else he should just roll like anyone else and if they win it on greed, DE the goods and keep them himself. Then it becomes those people who couldn't DE's loss for not having that skill thus not making as much money.

When I said "something" I should have said "some fish".

    you will always catch "something" when fishing.

    you will always catch "somefish" when fishing in a school of fish. you will get the fish in the pool you fished in.

    The new fishing tourney is now on Saturdays at 2pm server. I don't know if someone brought that up. It was Weds at 8 on the PTR, but the current patch notes say Saturday. Hooray?

    That said, after 3 years of trying - I FINALLY WON THE OLD CONTEST THIS SUNDAY! WOO! I still want to win the new one for the boots though.

    To a point I agree, it's a group loot.

    But in that case we should start rolling for artic furs/leather and any ores/gems that are mined while inside as well.

    Enchanters still kind of get the shaft there but oh well, if they don't like it, don't offer the service.

    Yeah, I was pretty non-pleased about the change, but apparently lots of raiding guilds run Wednesdays (unlike my suckass guild which runs 25 mans on saturday nights. SATURDAY NIGHTS ARE FOR HUMPING - not fighting electronic dragons!!!), so they moved it to Saturdays at 2.

    There's also a difference between veins, herbs, and mobs in an instance (which all exist in the outside world, and thus provide no intrinsic benefit just by virtue of being inside the instance) and boss kills that are guaranteed to provide a shardable item.

    If the miner wasn't there, nothing would happen to the veins. If the enchanter wasn't there people would still make money off the items.

    Man that is lame as shit.

    Wed was going to be great. Lower server population; people raiding/instancing/forgetting it was happening.

    People would actually have a chance.

    Bleh.

    Anyway, does anyone know how to catch the shark? The video in the OP implies that any fishing pool can contain it but with the hints about the suckerfish I had assumed that Sholazar would pretty much be the only place to get it.

    Also, I'm surprised there hasn't been riots that the quest turnin guy is right next to the alliance hearth point and not the horde.

    As far as I know it's just a random pull from any pool in Northrend that drops Pygmy Suckerfish (which is almost all of them)

    Whatever, I'm just excited about the prospect of doing the Kaluak contest as a pally with crusader aura and aura mastery. It's like nitrous oxide for your epic flyer.

    I'm really loving having Herbalism on my Rogue. Not only is the money for herbs really nice, but having a healing spell on a class without any form of self healing (outside of consumables of course) is really, really nice.

    I expect lots of Warlock portals directly on the quest giver for the first several weeks anyway.

    On another topic I finally farmed/bought enough Thorium to push my Rogue to 300 Blacksmithing. As he is level 65 already, I then just went to 350. 300-350 was so much easier than 285-300. Thorium really is the worst.

    It'll also be nice doing it as a druid since the flight form is an instant cast. The distance between fishing nodes isn't very far so the Paladin boost in speed isn't that much of advantage over druids. :P Now if only I could get a 310 drake to boost my flight form speed.

    And lets not forget an army of mammoths standing on him so you can't turn it in. Why the hell can't it just be "if you catch it first you win," it's not like they can't tell who caught it first.

    Arg.

    The new LFG system is just too much goddamn fun, when I have some VERY important leveling up JC from nothing to do.

    Hopefully I'll do it, and then they'll nerf jewelcrafting, so I can feel bad about all the time wasted.

    It has to be pretty new. I am pretty sure I have a miner at around 280 or so who couldn't mine in Hellfire a month or so ago.
