What the title said, but only choice bits, and I'm not even going to mention the great ending or the other cool thing that happened, pick it up because the book is a rockin' and wants you to come knockin' so you can be bippin' and boppin' while your heads a noddin':

glc43a.jpg

glc43b.jpg

glc43c.jpg

glc43d.jpg

edit: what the hell, the ending:

Kyle comes back to life as the Star Sapphire who was with Kryb lets Natu's heart merge or something with Kyle, so they are fused in love or something (it's a good explanation but I'm not posting the scans), and Mogo arrives to help out, to which Kilowog replies "I guess Mogo does socialize" hahahaha suck it Moore everyone's stealing your shit right FACE!

And Batman: Streets of Gotham #7 was a good read, but it gets disturbing toward the end, and if Dini doesn't let what's due actually happen, it's just a case of being excessively gory:

First, a nice page of light heartedness:

    bsg7a.jpg

Then we have Humpty stealing toys to give to broken children:

    bsg7b.jpg

Humpty is actually finding them in the river, and brings them to the orphanage to fix them by giving them fixed toys

    bsg7c.jpg

    bsg7d.jpg

What is actually happening is Zsaz is running a kid slave ring where they fight to the death, and he dumps the bodies into the river, which is what Humpty is finding.

Now, if Zsaz doesn't die by the end of this, either by Damien just snapping and killing him, or by that big guy who has the brass knuckles, it just makes Gotham way too defeatist to even try and be a "regular" city if everything is this corrupt and violent. Batman writers need to realize you can't keep doing this without breaking the suspension of disbelief for the reader. I'm hoping we see more of what Morrison wants to do, where Gotham is a big great city so you put up with the villains, but it's not showing up yet.

His arguement falls apart when you realise getting a hydrofoil or a private island pales in comparison to getting to be the Batman and the tail that includes.

My moment of the week was figuring out what Incorruptible was all about. (Hey, I see what you did there, Mark Waid.) And then impulse-buying it based on this cover:
    incorruptible1coverb.jpg

    Also, X Force:
Eli being a fuckup again was pretty rad. Though the rest of the issue was pretty boring.

Did I know about Rictor and Shatterstar?

GLC was indeed awesome. My MOTW, though, goes to X-Factor, with Shatterstar knocking the Thing out of the Baxter Building, then announcing to the crowd:

    "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?"

    I still don't like
how Marvel have retconned away Steve's death and then screwed up bringing him back,
but Cap Reborn was actually pretty good this week. Also Daredevil continues to rock the house, and I'm digging Doctor Voodoo as well.

Ghost stopped Norman from killing him off in an "Accident". Norman now can't decide what to do with him and probably is just apathetic. If Headsman has survived thsi long maybe he's useful. He's the Swordsman of the team. There to absorb beat downs of epic proportions.

Can someone just confirm the end of Dark Avengers form e?
So is Loki orchestrating events to make Osborn lose it? Or is he directly influencing Osborn to lose it? Either way, as insane as he is, how is Osborn not realising this?

And Sentry is gonna die permanently soon, someone who can waste the Molecule Man and apaprently make the Scarlet Witch seem like nothing is beyond too powerful to have around.

Osborn knows that Loki is a liar and manipulator but the idea to invade Asgard came from his Goblin persona, plus the fact that he wants to honor his promise to deliver on the Cabals wishes (Loki's wish was for Asgard to be back up in the heavens). Lucid Osborn knows that Loki can't be trusted but Goblin Osborn is the controlling factor here.
