BTW, I will never understand how academia can make reading about Ghenghis mo'fuggin' Khan boring. The dude conquered the better part of the planet, pillaged across ancient civilizations, and was generally more badass than badass has any right to be. And it's boring. My mind = exploded.

Some shit came up so I had to leave all of a sudden Sunday. I won't be albe to play again for awhile if at all because my connection now is about 1/5th as fast so we'll see if I'm able to play with that.
I know this game is awesome and all (my friends and I used to play pretty religiously, dabbled in a few mods), but what happened to the Company of Heroes thread? I mean, the setting of 40k kicks its ass, but the gameplay of CoH just ups the ante for DoW. I guess I'm just surprised to see a GAME-ON about this game and not the other.

I downloaded and installed the demo for DoW & WA from Cnet without any problems, but I'm having trouble with the DC demo. I've tried to get it from a couple different places, but both times I go to install it and get a "not a valid win32 application" (or something like that) error. I really just wanted to bitch to someone, but if anyone out there has any suggestions that'd be a nice little bonus.
Automatch is for those assholes who rush someone that is still learning the basics and use DR with FoF all over the damn place then post the replay on how pro they are. Fuck those people.
Although DoA played automatch, I think. He's pretty ok.
Yeah, Dawn of War requires all kinds of ports to be open for decent performance otherwise you might be able to get into a game but you'll cause the game to lag to hell and back.
So yeah, I the Imperial Guard. In the last game I played last night, I was at max troop capacity from about three minutes in, and it lasted for most of the game (until Ein almost wiped me out when I rushed his base with a billion Guardsmen. I had a full HQ and then like, 8 or 9 squads too. I think one and a half squads made it out by the time I noticed they were all getting murdered).
It's good they have heir own game on because I do not want to play with those queers.
While I agree and enjoy the lack of mod attention this thread gets, I do not enjoy potentially losing players because some losers in SE++ can't be bothered to go to a different sub forum.
