he does smodcast, his podcast, and one episode number they skipped and decided to say that ep is the new Chasing Amy commentary. so yay. and then a new documentary on the disc to watch. double yay. on blu-ray and I get to chat the whole time since I moved my computer... but now I'm losing focus on things I'm happy about.
Chasing Amy was way better than it had any right to be.
I don't have a problem with Kevin Smith, but I won't watch his fanboy stuff like that Silent Bob and Jay thing.
I hate that he keeps putting his no talent ugly wife in things. Clerks 2 was a terrible movie and she was part of the reason.

but I don't like her in anything. suppose I can understand putting your wife in stuff especially with the closeness of all the people in that flick but yeah I see where you're coming from.

Ok so basically I called and the phone girl (the same one who I'm pretty sure wants my dong!) recognizes me and pretty much tells me my order before I place it. So as I get ready to hang up she's all "what time you get here" (but in a super thick accent, stay with me here) and I say "10 minutes?", realizing I guess they close earlier than I thought.
So I get there and they're pretty much outside waiting for me, one hand on the gate ready to pull it down. I feel super bad about holding them up and rush over to pay. Girl's making change out of her own pocket, they're so ready to leave, when a group of teenagers come up.
They ask about cigarettes and basically she doesn't want to sell them without carding and they all insist they 'forgot' their IDs and "you know me, come on, I'm 18" etc. At first she's just sort of laughing in a "sorry, try somewhere else guys, wish I could" kind of way, but then they get sort of menacing. I'm still standing there waiting for my change and they're actually beginning to form a sort of little semi circle.
Basically I'm 22 and bigger than most 16 year olds and I stepped between them and there were some words and they left and now I'm her big strong white Godzilla savior 8-)
until she sees my dong and realizes I'm not Godzilla, anyway
I expected this story to end with new brandishing a gun, possibly some murdering.

And I don't mean that like Clerks is one of my favourite movies, I mean it as this dude in his early 20's financed his own movie, shot it, then managed to get it onto the festival circuit. That is the dream. Fuck, the best part of the Clerks X DVD is the Snowball Effect.

If you learn how to make movies for super cheap Hollywood will suck your dick. You don't have to be particularly good, you just need to know how to squeeze a dollar. Funny thing is, that's not as hard as it sounds, it's just easier to throw money at a problem than be creative.
