Welcome to the Underworld, Demon, a place of politics and betrayal. A place where house loyalties are only as strong as the house in question, and their tyrannical rule over their members. A place so treacherous that your peers even knowing your name is enough to exact paranoia... and rightfully so.

The name... it is the access to one's soul. To one's essence. With the knowledge of a Demon's name, unthinkable powers can be exacted.
The conflict has only just begun between the houses.

Welcome to True Names Phalla, the Phalla of information brokerage and political intrigue.
In this game, every player will be assigned one of the 5 demonic houses, as well as a "True Name." This true name is very precious, as it carries your very essence with it.
The Houses, and their Win Conditions
Each house has 2 allied houses and 2 enemy houses. Each of a house's allies are enemies, and each ally shares one other enemy with the house in question.
Lucifer wins when Abbaddon and Azathoth are eliminated.
Abbaddon wins when Lucifer and Loki are eliminated.
Loki wins when Abbaddon and Nurgle are eliminated.
Nurgle wins when Loki and Azathoth are eliminated.
Azathoth wins when Lucifer and Nurgle are eliminated.
The Members
Each member will know all of the Forum Names of their house, a list of the true names (but not forum names) of their allied houses, and the name of the patriarch of their own house. The patriarch is the leader, in charge of the most powerful of the house's magics, though the position is transient. When a patriarch dies, a new one is immediately appointed from the surviving house members.
In addition, the patriarch, while also given a list of the 10 true names of their allied houses, is given the forum names to match their allied house's patriarchs.
Spells
In the underworld, many spells are cast by consuming the essence or life force of another demon. There are 2 terms here.
1. Consume Essence: This will prevent any activity during the night of the targeted demon. Any abilities they were using are cancelled, as they are trapped and unable to act or motivate themselves. If two demons try to consume each other's essence, both attempts will fail. This also applies to any consumptions that act 'in a circle' or otherwise in any way which makes simultaneous consumptions impossible. Failure of abilities is the default.
2. Consume Life Force: This will kill the targeted Demon.
Any member of a house can use an action any night, as long as their essence is not consumed. Even if their life force is consumed, they will have the chance to first act.
All spells and targets of all types MUST USE TRUE NAMES.
The following spells may be used:
A. Summon Trophy - Consume the life force of one demon in order to create a small token. This token is for aesthetic purposes only and provides no in-game bonuses. ONLY A PATRIARCH MAY CAST THIS SPELL.
B. True Hearing - Consume the essence of one demon in order to find the True Name of a target Forum Name.
C. Scry - Consume the essence of three demons in order to receive a complete breakdown of which forum names targeted which forum names with abilities.
D. Protect - No cost. Your target's essence may not be consumed for the current night.
E. Treason - Consume the life force of one demon in your house and one demon in a target house in order to become a member of that house. This spell also requires the listing of every living True Name in the target's house.
The Law of True Names and Forces with which you should not meddle
Even the power of demons is not infinite, and there are things even demons were not meant to understand.
If, at any time, you attempt to:
1. Target a true name which does not exist
2. Incorrectly target a true name (ie. typo)
3. For any reason attempt a target of a true name which is in ANY WAY inaccurate
...you will immediately be swallowed up by the abyss, an area below hell where even demons fear to tread.
--IN GAME TERMS, THIS MEANS YOU WILL DIE INSTANTLY.--

In this phalla, the winner will be determined by the house which best deals in the information they have at their disposal. By engaging in illicit trades and betrayals, you will increase your own information base, and in doing so will be able to crush your enemies beneath your feet.
But be careful, lest your allies see your run to power and decide it's worth it to stop you.
All the normal phalla stuff applies, up to and including the Red Vote.
