Happy: Valithria is a fun fight as a healer.

Hate: Sindragosa is a bitch. Used up 7 of our 20 attempts on her in 10 man.

Hope: We can down her and Arthas this week.

    Hate: Another guildie got hacked.

Assured: We got to his alts before he could do much damage.

Seething with hatred: The person who got hacked was one of our best healers for our raid group. So hitting ICC10 probably wont happen this week... yet again.

Hope: That Blizzard can get this shit figured out soon. I don't even care about the contents of the bank that were stolen, I just want this guy to get his character back.

This has inspired me to take more action. I want to have it so guild members can't withdraw items from the bank unless they have an authenticator, but at the same time that seems incredibly unfair. Some of them can't even get it for $6 because they live out of country. It also seems fair because this is the second time someone has been hacked, and our bank plundered, in 2 months.

Make sure your officers all have authenticators. Give them full bank access.

Everyone else gets really strict stack limits, and no access to anything of high value. Make it so that if someone gets hacked or is just disgruntled or whatever, the worst they'll do to the guild bank is take some consumables.

We had the same guy get hacked twice in a month. Once before christmas, once just after. The funny thing was, that we hadn't filled the guild bank again (Guild leader still on vacation) so the second hacker must have been pissed.

Happy: Got some pictures like I'd planned on doing,

Hope: My feral t10 pants drop in 10 man tomorrow, since I already got my Vanquisher's Mark and I don't want to spend 95 badges.

I think my favorite hacker to date was the guy who, when it came time to rob the guild bank, withdrew two stacks of scopes and a bunch of the thanksgiving holiday feast things before hitting his stack limit. There wasn't a lot of real value that he could have taken, but he could have done a lot better than spending 80% of his daily withdrawal limit on completely worthless items.

Hurgh: Just did a random H PoS with a DK tank who couldn't hold aggro worth a damn. Blues, dps gear and dual wielding two tanking weapons. Everytime I laid into a mob omen would start screaming bloody murder at me. Even if I let him smack it for 6 seconds or so I'd still get a flashy aggro screen soon after jumping in. After the patient healer (who was the second one - the first one took one look at the tank and left) DC'ed in the middle of a skeleton pull, I ghostwolfed out of the instance and bid farewell to the group.

Was the DK's name Luigi perchance? I had a guy the other day tank with dual wield and was needing on dps gear in the instance. It was funny because the dps ring that Tyrannus drops came and I was needing to upgrade my rings so I did the polite thing and asked the group if I could need it. Everyone except him had no problem even though he hadn't asked if he could need the two items he'd already got in that instance. My response to him. "Bite me" and we both rolled need. :) I like my new ring. Though he said my dps sucked even with me being 2nd in the group for dps and damage dealt on Tyrannus. Little silly goose.

Hate: Saurfang was bugged for us on 10m last night. In less than two minutes he was at 70 Blood Power, up to that point the Blood Beasts landed a single hit, and blood nova/blood boil were well controlled. Apparently alot of people have been experiencing this, where Saurfang just randomly gains 3-5 BP every 5-10 seconds without any cause.

    Hope: Shit gets fixed.

Hate hate hate seething hatred: For the 3rd week in a row when we get our raid all ready to kill a boss on tuesday the instance server crashes. I'm getting so sick of this. For the previous two weeks it locked up as we were about to pull Marrowgar. After about 15-30 minutes, it would finally log out our mains, but we wouldn't be able to get back in the instance for another hour or so because it says it is full. We watch in dismay as rival guilds romp unimpeded through ICC while we're forced to farm ToC on our best attendance night instead of getting progression.

Tonight, we weren't quite full at raid time, so we were gonna knock down Toravon for free loot. As we're zoning the last of us in, it locks up again. Only unlike other tuesdays, it never releases our mains. Even when it logs them off finally, it won't load them at our hearths like it normally does. And of course, other guilds are downing VoA then moving on to ICC with no issues. We managed to get our weeklies done, and after about 2 hours, it finally let us log into our mains, many of which logged in in Durotar or Tirisfal.

We submitted tickets and the only response we got was essentially "We're really busy, so the response to your ticket is in your upper corner." Only, there was no response up there, and you couldn't whisper the GM who sent it because he no longer had an open ticket with you. It really fucking killed the raiding mood.

extra hate: the boredom while we stared at the infinite loading bar led to a politics discussion.

    Confused:
So, yesterday, I decided to do some leveling with my mage alt to see of setting things on fire is as fun as they say. Got Razorfen Kraul with a very strange pally tank. This girly was entirely ret specced, had weirdly inappropriate gear (leather pants?) and constantly talked in sort of Tarzan-English ("aaagh, me die"). After a while I concluded that she might be some really young kid playing the game. A gnome warlock took to himself to give her some tanking advice after which she got really protective of him to the point that she would stop tanking every time he cast Life Tap and rush to heal him.:?

It really dragged on as nobody in the party has been to RFK before. I think we changed 3 healers before we finally called it a night (it was around 1:30AM at this point).

In spite of all the bad pulls and really bad threat management, I just didn't have the heart to quit and requeue. The poor kid got into panic whenever someone got near death ("You no die! Nobody die this time! Every other group I play, all die.")

In the end I think we cleared most of that instance twice, did the escort quest and then disbanded. Well, at least I got two levels for it. :)

yea.. said this in the raid chat. It was crazy. Nothing you could do was able to prevent his blood power from skyrocketing. We got him at or below 10% but then it became a bit much to handle. Im guessing the people that have gotten past him far far exceed our dps right now as that is the only thing that would make this doable for us at that point.
I noticed his blood boil kept giving him BP for the duration of it. It was almost guaranteed that he'd gain like 20% or more from getting that on someone.

HATE: Ok, so I don't raid much, so I'm lower on DPS than some people. But, when I get 21 frostbolt interrupts on Deathwhisper, and the rogue has 2, somethings wrong. Also, the same ranged DPS that can't be arsed to change to blood beasts on Saurfang also can't be arsed to change DPS to the frozen orbs in the new VoA boss, meaning we failed in 3 attempts to kill him. Mind you we had 9 ranged DPS. Which is just silly. What a bunch of silly geese.

We'd heard that Saurfang was bugged, word was that his mechanics were in heroic mode though his HP was normal. First thing we were asking was if he dropped heroic loot, which was sadly not the case. 25 man he's at like 60 blood power the first time we switch tanks, first mark was a cat dps who sprinted into the gunship cannon as normal. We got like 5 or 6 marks that fight but managed to down him on the first try because we have some of the best healers on the server. Every previous week he'd died before his third mark went out, considering we always let the first mark target die or make them get in the cannon due to the bug. Maybe they'd fixed the first mark bug, but changed his mechanic to make up for it? I hope this isn't how they intend for the fight to go, but I'm guessing it's what we're stuck with.

Happy: Pugged VoA 10 and downed the new boss.

Happy: Tried to back out of the ICC 10 group I've been running with, only to be told that I was the best DPSer they had and begged to stay. Instead of being a total fail group, we actually managed to one-shot Marrowgar, Deathwhisper and the airship, AND do the rotting frost giant (after two failures). We ran into a bug on Saurfang, but it was the smoothest run so far.

Hope: We eventually get past Saurfang.

Happy: Bonebreaker Sceptre dropped. The Paladin tank already had it, and the DK tank didn't want it. Upgrade for my still-in-progress tank set!

It might be hard mode mechanics without the hard mode health. Saurfang is the sort of fight where things get out of control if you let the fight go on long enough, and if his health didn't increase, you're probably still in really good shape if you have good dps.

However, my uninformed guess is they did some tweaks to shape player behavior better (largely, reducing incentive to let marks die, and reducing the amount of BP can be avoided outside of avoiding blood nova and beasts), and that's how it ended up.

You've got about 1% more hit than you need and you could do with some expertise. Don't go crazy, though. Your crit is fine, you could do with about 26 or so expertise to get rid of the dodge chance on a boss. Other than that I'd say straight str. But there are better ret paladins than I.

Well right now without his health increase, we can already see a huge change in regards to how the fight is going. He wasnt the cake walk as he was before unless you are severly overgearing the fight, and even then you notice the changes. And thats without his health increase. Even if its a 25% health increase which i would think it would be at a minimum, he would get at least 1 or 2 more marks in that time. That would be a huge difference unless you are utterly destroying him now anyway. And not to mention, if you cannot use the cannons to cheat the fight, its a lot more to heal

Yeah, it's easy with 2 accounts and alt-tabbing. Although the neutral AH still takes a 15% cut of the gold when it arrives at the seller. For more efficient gold transferal, you take something that's expensive and sells easily on both sides, like an epic gem or something, sell it cross-faction to your alt for a low price (you've gotta be fast on this to prevent snipers), and then sell it on the other side while only losing 5% to the regular AH cut.

Yea, apparently you used to be able to get into the cannons during the saurfang fight. If you had the mark, it would totally negate the mark as long as you stayed in the cannon. You couldnt do anything, but it saved a death/extra healing required to keep the mark alive.

On that note.. has any guild beaten LK in 10 or 25 yet?
