Games that are confirmed to be or might be there:
The games are listed in order of current release date. Soonest at the top.
As the article states, keep in mind that this is the "announced" list and not the "complete" list. Hopefully we will see a few additions to it before all is said and done.

Ah, okay. Ya, I was thinking something wasn't quite right.
I can't view Joystiq and such sites at work so I couldn't read the fine print. Thanks.

It does seem a tad light. I will totally update this thread if we find out there's more.
Speaking of updates, I just spent over an hour trying to list the games that MIGHT be at the show.
Please turn your attention to the Spoiler in the first post.

To comment on the "spoiler" list, Wizards of The Coast makes board games and card games. Their main product is Magic the Gathering (which does have video game incarnations which could be featured). They are a flat out huge company though, and also own Avalon Hill, which publishes such board gamer favorites as Robo Rally and Axis & Allies
I hope WOTC has some demos of the physical Magic The Gathering card game. The XBL title was actually not too bad and got me interested to learn the real card game.

I don't see why they wouldn't. PAX '08 I know had physical card demos, and actually had cards for sale too. Fairly certain they would continue that trend, especially as selling cards helps subsidize the booth to a degree.

I know that much, what I am asking is if anyone has data on something they have not released yet.
Perhaps a new line of Magic cards or a new D&D video game or a new official D&D adventure.

You live in a big city. Go to the MtG website and search for games going on in your area and go to a Booster night. I bet St Louis has a lot of places like that. I know here they play every week and every Tuesday is booster night.
People are ALWAYS more than willing to introduce someone how to play. And Booster tournaments are pretty much the noob specialty.

An interesting list. I'm excited to see the Protomen on the band list, though I still refuse to believe at this point that Freezepop will not be there, as Boston is their home town and they pretty much told me directly in an interview that they would be there. Things can change though, so we'll see I guess...
The complete exhibitors list will be multiple times larger than that too so rest assured the missing companies should be added in due time.

Ditto. I'm actually thinking about the beginners D&D thing too. I played D&D back in highschool and some of my students taught me Magic when I started teaching. Considering I turned 33 today that's a pretty old memory so I look forward to being re-taught!
WOTC: D&D 4e and Worldwake. No way they're showing Magic 2011 this early in the year, and Worldwake was just pre-released this weekend, with the release on Friday.
I hope Blizzard is there. Want to see me some Diablo III and WoW:Cataclysm!

I'm pretty excited that both Twisted Pixel and The Behemoth are going to be there. I can't wait to try out both of their new games and I can only imagine that the Behemoth will have some pretty cool stuff to buy at their booth. I need something else to keep my Castle Crasher barbarian company on my desk. I've seen a mock up for their new King figure, so maybe we'll get lucky and be able to snag that as well.
I thought PAX was anti sports/sim games yet there seems to be at least one on the suspected list to be there.
iRacing wanted to attend apparently but were told that sports/sim games were not allowed to exhibit. Anyone know what the story is on this?
I don't often play games of this type. Really only "extreme sports" type stuff like Tony Hawk or SSX, and Kart racing as far as racing is concerned, I would be surprised to see a gaming convention just blacklist an entire genre or two from it's exhibition hall, especially when previous PAXes seem to have embraced to concept of openness to all types of gaming. Curious to know whether there's truth to this.

Well I'm just going on what I was told from the contact at iRacing, they wanted to exhibit and were told they cannot.
"At this moment, we are probably not going to be attending the PAX East. Apparently, the show organizers are not allowing sports games/sims to display at the show. We have the full intention of attending, but at this time, they are not going to let us (or any other sports or racing game/sim) attend."
I've tried to email the PAX event staff and media contacts for info but no replies.

This is a very *very* partial exhibitor list. There's a lot more to come.

I'd like to play:
Dead Space 2
Crysis 2
Alpha Protocol
Metroid: Other M
Epic Mickey
Super Meat Boy
They are just the publisher of the Wii version IIRC.

AWESOME!!!
Also Mega64 has a panel/booth, if that means anything...
HOLY CRAP!
I can't tell you how damned excited I am for that...not that I wasn't already completely amped for the whole damned event.
So excited about Protomen and VGO. So. Excited.
Organizer of the Post-PAX Party. You should come!
Satellite Theater for life!
Silly, but I'm excited. The Maw and 'Splosion Man are two of the most endearing games I've played in years.
