yeah. As I wrote, I have every browser installed and up to date, when I run into problems with one
Opera hates my bank's site, Chrome hates my ebay account for some reason, firefox is the red-headed step child that gets no love at all.
If Opera won't load your bank's site properly, it's because Opera knows your bank is shit.

was taking a nap since I didn't get any sleep last night, starting dreaming that Lieve Schrieber was my older brother and woke myself telling him to fuck off

This is fascinating. At first I thought it just might be people trolling, but I guess it really isn't.
wow.
I should check those people who linked their facebook accounts to see if they really deleted them.

I am going to delete my account (IF I CAN EVER LOG IN) as this SUCKS BIG TIME ! If this does not get back to NORMAL you are going to lose a lot of folks who hate this and as you can see from all the comments they think it sucks too !!! facebook was great for connecting with old friends ...now, NOT SO MUCH. SO HOW DO I LOG IN ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
People who knock Facebook are silly. I've used it to reconnect with most of the people who ever meant anything to me in my life. It's a small number, but every one counts.

A coworker who just got his first laptop/personal computer signed up for Facebook and reconnected with a friend he hasn't seen in 16 years. Now he's got Skype installed so he can catch up with her now that she's living in France.

Why does that look off to me, Cal? I'm 12 years removed from my last Latin class, but for some reason it looked off.
I dunno, which part?
[edit]If you're talking about Sinosauropteryke; I did take some creative license with that. pteryx is a greek stem (to the best of my knowledge) so I adapted it into a 3rd declension -ke ablative ending.

No, I was just rusty. I was translating it incorrectly.
what like space cannons that fire buses at spaceships?
Pretty much yeah
Specifically someone musing that versus a sufficiently defended target, you might as well launch your 10,000 ton battleship directly at the enemy rather than pussyfooting around exchanging cannon fire
So after seeing the comments on the article in the OP, I think I finally understand the market for the iPad.
Also, one of my favorite comments has to be one where the person thought they'd beaten the system by using Bing instead of Google, because the facebook login page was apparently still the first result there.

The saddest victory. Like winning the lottery but being robbed and losing the ticket before you could make it to the lottery office.

It's more like losing your keys, so resorting to reaching in through your doggy door in order to open the door to your house from the inside.
But it was never locked in the first place.

The best is when a forumer shows you how to break into his house and steal his donuts.

My head hurts
It's latin
FFFFFFFF-
Tuus amor similis Tyrannosauro est
Me cum ferocibus dentibus eius superat
Tuus amor similis Sinosauropteryke est
Plumae eius meam animam calefacit
Tuus amor similis Pluto est
Semper stella in via lactea cordis mei erit
It conquers me with it's ferocious teeth
Your love is like a Sinosauropteryx
It's plumage warms my soul
Your love is like Pluto
It will always be a planet in the milky way of my heart

I thought "me cum ferocibus" was going to translate to something totally different
That coincidence is breaking me on the inside

I'm only first quarter, so my latin is all sorts of shit. But I think it's right.
