although the premise is all kinds of confusing to me (just going from what i can see on the poster)

    i really dig that poster.

(there's zombiegas? And that's why non-zombies have to wear gasmaks right?

but also a party who is not wanting to be part of the zombies but want's you dead as well?

    and they are nazi's?)

Big fan of proportionally diminutive art styles. Experimenting with something similar for a project of my own. That poster's pretty hot.

Ya that kinda sums it up. You have the guys on the right who started the Apocalypse, the zombies on the left that are the result of it and the Hero caught in the middle of it all.

Mind talking about your process for the poster at all? I'm really curious as to how it was tackled. The linework is so clean if feels vector, but the colors are much more organic.

At the moment we are only focusing on the iPhone and iPod Touch for this game. If it gains enough of a following we'd definitely look into porting it. It's a little early to tell though, plus we're only a 2 man team so that makes it a little harder to expand our stuff to other platforms.

You're drawing a very fine line on copywrites there with Master Bastard, especially for something that's going to be commerically released.
Did you guys get it checked out by some lawyer type people?

OK, so i LOVE this don't get me wrong. I have 1 issue with it.
The guy being eaten is looking at the zombie, which makes it feel to me like he's still alive and struggling, yet the fact his torso is eaten would lead me to believe he's well dead.

I know this is nit picking, because i guess the pic works weather he's dead or dying, but if the intent was for the victim to be dead, i would maybe roll the eye back in the head a bit.

Disagree with NZ and Tam, I think it's a lot funnier with the still-alive "AHH! WHAT THE HELL!" expression than a "I'm dead because obviously logically I would be dead" expression. Changing it just makes the tone grim, rather than retaining the playfulness in the rest of the work.

I'm going to side with bacon, the first one is more fun. I mean how many times did Wile E. Coyote get himself killed only to re-appear in the next scene? Suspension of disbelief isn't a necessary item to consider in this kind of art. Heads can live forever in cartoons.

I completely agree with you. And it looks sweet the way you mocked it up. However, my purpose for the piece was to be humorous. I used it as a temp loading screen with the caption "Aren't you guys full yet?" coming from the corpse. So that's why he's looking at them. Hope that clears it up:D

    Haha, gross.
Evisceration is the one thing that gets me every time.

The thought of some guy passively horrified that his organs are being eaten is hilarious. I say keep the eyes.
I mean, it's not like he has options anyway, seeing as both his arms and legs have been eaten off.

(PS: The teaser footage for this looks amazing - there's nothing I love more than art that is part of something larger!)
