Drawing a comic for a friend

My pal wrote a script of around 25 pages, and asked if I could illustrate it in comic form. I've never undertaken a project of this nature, so it's a learning experience for sure.

The process I decided to follow, was drawing it on letter sized paper inside a 4.5"x7" box, so that I may scan it in, blow it up and make changes on the computer, and then trace it & ink onto 11x17 bristol board (final size 6.625"x10.25"), scan that in, clean it up in pornoshop then add color.

Right now, I've got around 9 pages sketched out. Wondering how I'm doing so far, or if the way I'm going about this seems on point.

    between pages 4 and 5 the writer said his personality/appearance wasn't what he wanted to convey... he looks too much like a chill bro as opposed to a quirky free spirited young adult that's confined to working for a multinational corporation, which is what he's going for. so obviously it'll be consistent once i finish sketching all the pages, and move on to scanning/redrawing/inking

    Why don't you post some artwork that's a bit larger, so we can see the detail?

    Some of the guy/girl shots remind me a little of Single Asian Female.

    personally i was hoping you would post more images with enough detail to critique properly

    but after this post i just don't care about you or your development

    you should learn to treat people like people

    not your own little forum-slaves that MUST do what you want straight away or be insulted

    No, see, that's wrong. You don't need to be demanding and rude to get a response. I'd wager that the people you just called "fagots" are unlikely to give you good critique unless you suddenly display a new personality. One that isn't an ass.
