The vast majority of fun I had in starcraft was playing "evolution" genre games.
Specifically the ones involving pokemon archtypes (because the layout of the map and units was superior, in my opinion)

10+ roaches roll up into his base, blowin shit up left and right. Terran has 3 banshees out.
Terran lifts off all their buildings and fucks off to the little expansion you can only get to via flight and uses his 3 banshees to wipe out the zerg base.

I bet the zerg immediately went to the forums to whine about the lack of zerg t1 AA.
It's amazing how many people don't realize that a failure to choke your entry point means i'll simply run my speed lings past your army and kill half your probes, then run away when your force catches up. Then of course i'll do it again 2 minutes later.
It's damn hard to block your choke on twilight fortress, but everywhere else yeah.
And gumpy, on every map except for twilight fortress I've been able to wall my chokepoint with a barracks+addon and 2 supply depots. I might not be able to get the addon up before the first zealot shows up though.

Yeah, i started ling rushing on twilight fortress too, just because everyone seems to think it's safe to tech with no defense for the first few minutes. Speed lings cross that map so fast.
They always mass up marines early on. Even when I throw 8 or so banelings at them, I still get my ass kicked.
8 doesn't seem like enough, and I thought the general strat against terran (unless you are terran) is to defend and tech up quick rather than focus on the early rush, because their marines will rape your tier 1 units

Despite our lack of individual skill I think we tear it up pretty well in 2v2. Though it helps that our enemies are always terribly uncoordinated :P
Z+T is a solid combo, the early lings on worker harassment with zeals => tech is nasty
I can pop 3 voids before most people even think about AA, and then it's zwoosh, vwoom, no more town hall
