Really though, Delmain is probably not a mafia with his complete cluelessness about the mechanics. Getting someone with high defense to sacrifice for him might make things better for finding actual mafia.

If I defend, do I have to counterattack people who attack me?
The only way to be hurt is if someone attacks you. So if others attack you, you will not automatically counterattack them no matter what you do. You can choose to attack one of them, if you'd like, or you can choose to defend to lessen your chances of being hurt (but then, of course, you won't have any chance of hurting them either).
So for your question, no. If you defend, you will not be counterattacking anyone.
I wouldn't vote for either myself or Delmain, but I don't want to say who I think are suspicious just yet. Keep arguing amongst each other on who deserves it the most!

I'll probably just end up using my red vote on anyone who's being attacked and who I don't suspect of being a baddie. Thank god we can change those.
Also, I'm surprised nobody's really said anything about there being only one true winner for the game. Assuming kime wasn't misspeaking, this would mean that the mafia is not operating as a group or that there will come a time when the group has to start killing each other as well.
