Where can I get HDMI and Optical cables in town?

EliteLamerEliteLamer __BANNED USERS regular
So whenever I order anything it never makes it to my apartment if it is sent USPS because when I put my mail box number half the places put that as my apt number. So yeah my mail almost never makes it to me. So my monoprice cables got lost....Don't really want to wait weeks for this to get fixed.

So where can I go pick up a 25 foot HDMI and Tos link?

You live near any Fry's Electronics? You'll get raped at Best Buy for cables, they rarely have the reasonably priced ones.

You can try Radio Shack. They used to have a few lines of cables, the lowest of which was not horrendously priced (for a retail store).

    Or perhaps Sears\Wal-Mart.

I checked both of their online stores and none of them had anything In store items really.

    Sears had a 6 foot for 10 bucks but I need 15 feet +

Short of monoprice finding some one willing to buy one with there employee discount is the only way to not get killed by markup on cables. Can you not have things shipped to a friend or family member or work? (i mean for in the future)

Some times your cable provider has hdmi cables for installs idk if you can buy them direct from them but you may be able to. It wouldn't hurt to call I guess.

I usually have stuff shipped to my moms house in another city but I don't want to wait weeks. I go home once a month usually.

See I am in the lucky situation of having a best friend who works for comcast and brother in law with verizon most of the time I can get decent sized hdmi cables free with no more than 2 phone calls.

But yea hit facebook and see if anyone can get you access to a cable installer or a best buy employee discount, the BB brand(rocket dog is it?) hdmi cables are stupid cheap for employees.

E:Have you ever called the post office to see if they still have the packages that are miss labeled? or is your mail box number actually some ones apt number??
