I've been thinking about how everyone hates the GTS... So if anyone wants a certain non-legendary for their single player run (or just really wants one,) I can go breed/hunt it for them.
Quick question bro's. How long/what do I have to do to get this damn game to change from night to day? I want a Gastly (just got the game) but hell if it will go to night time. I've gotten my geodude 12 levels and its still daytime and I am furious.
It goes by your DS clock. So if it's night time where you live, then it's night time in the game. Unless you mess with the clock.

I've never used the GTS. Why do people hate it?
Recall the kind of shit that happens on any Nintendo WFC game (mario kart, Animal crossing). Now applying to Pokemon trading. Yeah...
fairly certain i got growlish , mankey, and gligar, cant get to my boxes right now but i know i have them 3, got a couple dratinis from pokewalker also

Yeah, I saw the edit AS I was quoting your post. Holy moly, that's neat.
It works extremely well until you get to Level 4 and then the odds start getting to close to 50-50 per for you to win very much. At that point it usually takes 3-4 turns to get past level 4. I have gotten to level 6 with it before. 5000+ coins so far with the little thing. Got me my Dratini and Abra early on.
I don't know, I just had it completely fail me on Level 2.
Maybe I'll try it again another time, but I think I might do better on my own.

The game has a nasty suprise for anyone who thinks they can power through the Elite Four using Ho-Oh. I had been doing so well up to that point, too.
Edit: I guess it's even worse if you have Lugia.
What, Machamp and (I'm assuming) No Guard + Stone Edge? I think I fell for that once ... then I figured hell, no Guts then eat Flamethrower!

Because I never got my Dratini. Not Extremespeed, not lacking-Extremespeed. Talked to the Master again, and he mentions Lugia. Serebii.net didn't mention it, but do I need to battle Lugia first?

Once you get the Dragon Fang, Surf to the entrance of the shrine, which you passed along the way. Inside, the Dragon Master will ask you five questions. Depending on your answers, you will be rewarded with a Dratini, which may or may not have Extremespeed, a move that Dratini cannot normally learn. To get the Extremespeed Dratini, do not answer in the following ways: "Underling" (second choice) for question one; "Cheating" (third choice) for question two; "Weak person" (first choice) for question three; and "Violence" (second choice) for question four. Finally, you must answer the fifth question with "Both" (second choice). If you do this correctly, the Dragon Master will later reward you with the Extremespeed Draini.
Before that can happen, Clair will enter the shrine and ask if you've found the Dragon Fang. She'll be surprised if you have it, and then the Master will note that you've passed the test. Before running off, Clair will finally accept her defeat and give you the final badge of the Johto League, the Risingbadge, which makes all Pokemon obey you. As you leave the Dragon's Den, Clair will be waiting to give you TM59 - Dragon Pulse, a Special Dragon-type attack with good power. She'll inform you to take Route 27 to reach the Pokemon League and then she'll leave. When you get back to Blackthorn City, Professor Elm will call you, congratulate you on earning all of Johto's Badges, and ask you to return to New Bark Town. As for your Dratini, return to the Dragon's Den shrine and speak to the Master again to receive it.
If that doesn't help I am sure someone can breed you one.
I am trying to catch a pokemon that only shows up in the mountain region of the safari zone. But, the mountain region never shows up, I get the same setup every time, but the guides tell me its random before I get the second challenge (he hasn't phoned me after doing the first challenge yet.)
