Wrong thread I am guessing... Unless...

Sentry breaks down the universe barrier and Brightest Day/Heroic Age is actually a huge Marvel/DC crossover that lasts for a year.

Dark Wolverine was pretty good I thought, mainly a set-up into him becoming the new Romulus. Sadly New Mutants didn't live up to my expectations. It was good but no "fantastic" moments.

Alas no real Ares scenes in NW #10 from what I skimmed through, and Dani was a big meanie to Hela for some reason.

Gillen actually tried to portray Hela in a sympathetic light and it worked somewhat I guess. The scene with Dani and the fighter jet almost made up for everything however. BTW it was issue 11 not 10.

I don't think setting him up to be the new Romulus is a good thing when Romulus is...ya know...Romulus. Perpetuating that character, his background and associations does more harm than a Scarlet Witch mad at Oxygen.

I'm gonna throw another theory on how Siege ends out there: Since Loki is appearing in the last issue, let's assume he has a hand in taking down the Void but can't do it by himself. Osborn already revealed the Void to Loki as a threat so let's say Loki has been planning how to take him down and decides he needs another magic user to aide him, Wanda Maximoff. This would explain how Wanda gets better assuming she's a member of the Secret Avengers and in my opinion it would be a fantastic way to end Siege. Only this time Loki wouldn't be put in charge of the supes in the aftermath (or WOULD HE?).

Wanda can't be redeemed in such a "pull a character out of our butts" moment and make it actually stick. That would be such lazy writing, even if Quesada and Bendis pulled the Joss Whedon card again.

Any means of taking out the Void that involves a character who hasn't yet appeared in the main mini will be horribly received. The most likely people to do the deed are, in my opinion, Thor or Osborn.

I'd be fine with Wanda coming back. Loki altering reality to fix someone who can alter reality, in order to take down someone who can alter reality is just so awesome. Throw Doom in there with his Millar Run powerup and I'll buy the issue four times.

Think about it though, how the hell can ANY of the players currently on the Siege battlefield hope to take down the Void in his current power level?

Cap? As much as an icon he is the Void is a bit out of even his league.

    Iron Man? See Cap.

Thor? This is a maybe if he can teleport the Void away ala Janet but I doubt Bendis will use that ending again.

Osborn? Siege #3 pretty much shows he's in no condition to talk the Void out of it.

So I'm still thinking it will be a combination of Loki and Wanda's powers.

I just hope it involves Doom. I mean, he got an insane powerup at the end of Millar's FF run but absolutely everyone has ignored it so far. The guy now has millions of years worth of magic and science expertise. It's at the level where he could just terminate a reality altering mutant. I want something DONE WITH THAT GODDAMMIT.

Except it's now come out that the Sentry persona was basically Void letting Bob have some fun with his powers. Void is totally in control, not as a construct either. He's in Bob's body, turning everything he touches into smoking (or bleeding) wreckage.

This makes it seem even more likely that Bob will overcome Void with the magic of believing.

Although this might not happen in Siege, he could just get "killed" until the next marvel event where he comes back.

I thinik Osborn is gonna talk him down and both he and Bob 'ascend' and go elsewhere for a long time with Osborn promising to try and help Sentry and himself at the same time.

If Cap shields Sentry to death Im not picking up a single Avengers book.

Siege should end with Bob's faithful corgi Watchdog swooping out of the sky and disemboweling the Void.

"No, Cap. He was my master. I'll do it."
I just really want a modern comic to end with a reversal of Old Yeller.

Siege should end with Nick Fury shooting the Sentry in the head in front of a bunch of news crews and cameras and killing him. Out of gratitude to Fury for ending the Sentry threat, the President disolves HAMMER and creates a new global peacekeeping force to take its place - SHIELD.
