A Total Netflix of the Heart

In this thread we celebrate the finest of american inventions!

Not only does Netflix mail DVDs and Blu-Rays directly to your mailbox
netflix-envelope.jpg

But they can also stream them to your computation unit! And even your gamebox of choice! On the 360 you can even form online viewing parties, which sounds kind of sad but is pretty fun! (and also still sad)

Some of us have even friended eachother on the Netflix site so we can mock others awful awful queues.

So let us do all of these things in this thread.

ever hear of that horror film splinter?

i got that and forever strong in the mail

forever strong was an amazing rugby film

splinter was an amazing horror film made even better with two scenes involving detached hands walking around without a body connected to it

basically it's been a good day

now to wait till mid-may for invictus

Netflix had a pretty decent animated film section back in 1998. So much 80's anime....sooo fun.

other than all of Buffy and AD being on there, all of Angel, 24, Bones, and X-Files is as well. pretty neat.

so, anyone want to my answer about David Lynch's Dune movie? i've heard people say that it wasn't as good as a Dune movie should be. but i haven't read Dune and I just want to watch a decent sci-fi movie

I was going to make a thread about this and maybe I still will
Variety is reporting that LucasFilm is developing a new animated Star Wars animated television sitcom series. The Daily Show/Frank TV writer Brendan Hay will be the head writer, and Robot Chicken creators/producers Seth Green and Matthew Seinreich will be “creatively involved” while daytime Emmy and Gemini Award-winner Jennifer Hill (The Backyardians) will produce with Todd Grimes (Back at the Barnyard) directing. No start date, series title or network have yet been announced (although it appears they are aiming for either Comedy Central or Cartoon Network).
