    saboteurs are better than synergists for pretty much everything except late hunts (at which point you can have every class on any character anyway)

    I like synergists because you only put on buffs once, though I guess that's moot with higher level spells

    Haste trumps everything a saboteur can provide in the early game.
    The only times I've honestly used a Saboteur has been in the final few hunts or when I'm grinding those goddamn turtles.

    I'm about 10 hours in and I'm getting really sick of how generic the whole game feels.

    And I want to pry out Vanille's vocal chords with a weasel.

    So far the most enjoyment I've gotten out of the game, is when you control Vanille, if you make her caper back and forth in place it looks like she's doing a retarded dance, and after a couple times she stops and hangs her head in shame.

    The pacing is kind of staggered, but once you get access to more paradigms and classes the fights get a lot deeper
