I don't know if hunting is creepy per se, unless you consider it creepy that humans have a natural instinctive urge to kill things. Which I guess is pretty creepy.
Just in case you find this meaningful, I knew how to use a dictionary when I was six and I think using a spell-checker is considerably easier.
I knew how to wipe myself when I was 6, but still find an illegal immigrant the better cleaner. Make it sparkle pedro or sheriff joe will send you back to mehico!

I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
Well, alright, that being the case, I think that's really the only fair and honest example you could draw of someone who is literally a "subsistence hunter".
But has little to do with what is being discussed. Nonetheless, it was worth bringing up and I'll say I was being unfair in saying that it's universally true of all hunters.
However, being told I am a "subsistence hunter" and therefore one of the "good ones" while people who mount a deer head on their wall are psychopaths is ridiculous and I'll continue to argue against that nonsense.
an elk or deer has a lot of meat, and it's certainly economical to kill one, even if you pay someone else to process the carcass for you. i've known quite a few people for whom hunted game made up a central portion of their diet, and shotgun shells are not all that expensive.
i find that deriving joy out of the act of killing is greusome and creepy. however, i don't regard that all hunters derive joy from the act of killing. for instance, a hunter who hunts and then makes use of the meat may be centrally motivated by his desire for game meat.
a hunter who hunts exclusively for trophies, well, it's difficult to see what is motivating him outiside of the joy of killing and the joy at displaying his killing abilities.
I know I am a bit late. But the whole MM/DD/YYYY thing does make sense for English speakers. It is basically writing it numbers on how your write it properly in English as "Month, Day Year." But it does make sense but like in Japan it goes YY/MM/DD and the reason I put year as only two is because they use the year of reign of the current Emperor but that is because in Japanese you state year then month then date. Sadly I don't know enough European language stuff to see why they developed the DD/MM/YYYY and the YYYY/MM/DD.

now of course it seems like the most sensible option, but that's not why we use that one
it's just that we say 9th april 1941, so of course that's how we write it. Same reason you do it the other way.
Hehehe. They put radioactive dirt on her face!
Ohhhh no I did not do that yet but I will now that you reminded me.
