I'm in one of the carrels on the mezzanine level and there's a ludicrous amount of cleavage going on at the tables on the main floor and it is super distracting

debating on whether or not to take both spanish courses over the summer
i don't wanna learn a language over the summer, that will resemble work!
Learning one or multiple foreign languages will get you more jobs than you can shake a stick at
i know it
and i'm looking forward to doing it
but i don't want to spend two months of summer going to school m-f for an hour and a half every day and work until 11pm - 4am every morning
i mean, i'd like to enjoy summer if at all possible. although maybe if i got it out of the way now, i could enjoy my summer more next year being of legal drinking age

I'm gonna take fencing over the summer and drop my PFW for fall. Sure, it's 12-4 on Sundays, but I'm looking forward to it and it shouldn't interfere too much with a work schedule.
Hm, now I realize I'm gonna have two drops before my sophomore year. They don't count towards the six drop limit if I drop them during the adds and drops period right? Shit.
they don't count during the adds/drops and they don't count before the 14th class day (during regular semester, don't know what the limit is for summer)

both Reed and Bard have a reputation for being lax on drug use in the student body, actually. It's something that they've both been struggling with, because of course the whole thing gets blown up so students are under the impression that they can do whatever they want -- in reality, what's really going on is that the administrations don't believe in closely monitoring the student body, but rather treating them as adults and interfering only when safety, security or legality seems to be at stake.
Reed's been especially cracking down this year because they had two deaths by overdose in the past six months, so they're getting really strict. Might want to tell your friend that.
also might want to mention to him that it's supposedly the most rigorous school in the states and that he probably wouldn't have much time to smoke weed if he went there
When I was at Pomona, my friend (who goes to Pitzer) gave me a tour, and we wandered up to their campus and hung out by the slackline they've got set up. While we're there, her friend walks by, smoking a joint, and stops to talk to her. It didn't seem to be a big deal at all.
you can smoke a joint while walking around my school if you're not stupid about it. You can do a lot of things.
Yesterday my girlfriend and about five other girls all stripped down, painted each other, played in a waterfall and then proceeded, naked, to a crowded lawn to sunbathe. A lot of students joke that the college is "clothing-optional"
Aw yeah, I managed to turn failing my first marcoeconomics exam into a guaranteed B without taking the final. All I'll need to get is a 80 on the final exam to get an A.
the best part about taking physics one a few years ago was realizing that I needed a 55 on the final to keep an A in the class
When I was taking algebra 2 i needed like a 60 on the final to keep an A, and it really paid off because my car didn't start on finals day. I had to get a ride and i got to class with 30 minutes left.
I finished the class with the 3rd highest grade with like a 72% on the final.

Like, earlier this morning my laptop said that it was compromised and wouldn't start, and I almost had a heart attack because I have important papers on here and also I need it for the AP French exam tomorrow
I hated chemistry I worked out I only needed to get 15% or something in the exam to pass by compensation. So I did no study for it and that was exactly what I got.

physics two however gets into E&M and I have yet to meet someone who had a good professor in that class
and you really need a good professor to understand it
