They're little bits of steak I've chopped up.

Edit: Nothing fancy, just a grill, lemon and pepper.

    Question.

Does this topic have room for burrito discussion?

Well, since they are talking about pho and such, I figure burrito discussion is allowed.

    Okay, so. Taco Bell.

What's up with their new 7 layer crunchwrap? It would be SOOO DELICIOUS if they just put some friggin meat in it. But no.

Gah. I ate the entire thing waiting for the meat to come and ended up with a big heaping pile of disappointment.

Well I mean, it was tasty and all. But it would just be so much better if they had put that crappy beef in there instead of the even more crappy beans. That's all I'm saying.

Yeah, I wouldn't have minded if they had replaced the tomatos with meat. I'm not a big fan. The gauc and sour cream were good in it though.

Indeed. I first noticed the guacamole and sour cream and was like "YES!!!" and the person who got one along with me did the exact same thing. We agreed at the end that the regular crunchwrap was better purely because of its meat. Ah well.

I'm probably going to go at midnight or something tonight as a sort of break in between my studies.

So I went to Jack in the Box today and got 2 tacos and a cheeseburger, then put one of the tacos in the cheeseburger as suggested. The shell gave the burger a nice crunch but otherwise it was not particularly noteworthy.

What should I put in them.

Keep in mind that this is Australia so all your fancy premade salsas and Pico de Gallo don't exist here.
I'll probably be making salsa from scratch.

    The tacquitos definitely are delicious.

But they are just so small.

    I dunno.

The best item remains the Cheesy Gordita Crunch. There is nothing that can defeat it.

Why the fuck do they call those things taquitos
I mean there's a lot at taco bell with names that don't match what they are
but couldn't they just call them chimichangas? Those actually exist
Also my throat hurts like a motherfucker and all this delicious food makes me sad

Chimichangas are deep-fried burritos. Taco Bell's things are more like soft taquitos.

I'll probably be making salsa from scratch.

    here we go

    2 small onions diced
    1-2 pounds chicken, sliced
2 hot chiles diced and sliced
    3 large tomatos chunked
2 medium chiles diced and sliced
    1 lime juiced
l handfull of cilantro rough chop
1 small can of tomato juice

take everything but the meat and combine it, now split in half and put one half in a mixing bowl while the other goes into a saucepan. add the chicken and turn the heat to med-high and let it go until it starts to roll, then reduce and cover for around 8 mins.

remove cover and add salt and pepper to taste. pour out into the tortillas cover in cheese and roll and place in an oiled dish, pour the remaning over the tops. top with more cheese and cover in foil. bake at 375 for 15-20 mins.

remove and serve with remianing cold salsa.

not perfect, but very easy and fairly cheap.
