Yeah, I'm not seeing it. I think you're reading too much into this. We already had the Crack reference when the sound was drowned out by silence at the end.

check out my spongy inaccurate TARDIS acquired from my local police force, they called it a police box, but it's a TARDIS, there are no fucking police boxes in my city.
the doctor is a fairly genocidal guy, when you think about it
the time lords, the daleks, these fish people, those evil jellyfish things that took over the fortress of solitude
wait no that last one was justice league and i think they sent them back to their home planet
Eh well
We have Vampires for a good part of history, so maybe the kids grow up and start breeding in little bits. But there allergic to sun and garlic and some guy killed one with a silver sword with crosses on it and oh hey modern day Vampire lore.
Also Callius you are silly and possibly a goose, this was fun.

Apart from the light, that looks almost exactly like my Dapol TARDIS.
I didn't think it was a bad episode, but the pacing in the second half was pretty bad and there was some really dodgy stuff like the electrified door and the queen woman just being like 'TURN ON THE MACHINE!!!' out of nowhere. And the bit with the Doctor on top of the tower.

The electrified door bit was just... Odd. Out of place.
I think someone earlier in the thread suggested it might have been leading on to a scene that was later removed from the episode. That does seem plausible, but it just doesn't seem like the Doctor Who crew to leave a disembodied bit of plot hanging in the breeze like that.
Hey, I wasn't trying to argue it was anything other than just that, I'm just extremely surprised that such a bizarre scene made it into the finished episode.
It does look like the Crack, but that could still be a coincidence, if it weren't for the Contessa mentioning of the Cracks that "some are as big as the sky, but some are as small as a keyhole", and the fact that the end of the episode focused on the Tardis' keyhole.

Next week looks amazing.
I enjoyed the portrait on the library card. It raises some questions about ID verification for galifrayians, though.

ok well I never saw those old episodes....
This is what I was thinking, it wasn't bad but it wasn't gripping and exciting like the others.

But they really could and should have found a better way to integrate that into the story
I wish that I had a native artefact free version
just watched the first part of the Angels two-parter
