Spectrum Trainees! You've finished your grueling months of the best training we at SPECTRUM HQ could provide, and the time of your final test draws near.
But that doesn't matter any more
Due to a catastrophe, of which I cannot go into any details, nearly all available Spectrum Rangers have been called away from their regular duties. We now have a new mission, and no qualified force to attempt it.
A signal has been detected on a planet outside the boarders of the Union. The last time we picked up a signal of this type, we discovered the technology that went on to become the Mark IV Armour you all currently wear. Another find like that could prove exceptionally beneficial to SPECTRUM, and we need it retrieved.
You are the only ones capable of collecting it at the current time. This is your final test, and succeeding in it will see you go from Spectrum Shades to full Spectrum Rangers. We wish you good luck on this mission, and hope its the start of a long and fulfilling career.
This is a Phalla, the Penny Arcade Forum's version of Mafia. This is a mix between Faction and Mafia game, similar to the make-up of Rolling Green Hills. This will be a game for 60 players, but I'll change it depending on how many sign ups we get.
Rules:
Standard rules (found in the Sign-up Thread ) apply.
No sharing of host-provided PMs via screenshots and direct quotation, no anonymous communication, no communication with the dead.
Vote Close
Vote will close at 10PM BST is 2PM PDT (Daylight Saving Time, hooray) and 5PM EDT. All hail our Blarney Overlords
Voting
Fairly simply, there will be a Red Vote that will see the target killed through over application of electricity. If someone achieves vote immunity, the thread will immediately be informed. If someone wins the vote, then they'll fry.
Mechanics
This game will be using Percentage Based HP, Map Based Movement, Items and every single player will have the option to make an attack on someone else.
Sign-Up
Sign up, either in !Bold Lime, or multicoloured or whatever. Just make sure the ! is there.
Inactivity
There should always be something to do, but if you don't post in the thread at least twice and make a vote, you are in danger of Inactivus tearing through reality to claim you.

Mark IV Aggressor Armour
With enhanced armour around the arms and legs, the Red Aggressor suit is specifically designed for delivering damage to a target. The base attack value of a Red Spectrum is higher then average, and any abilities loaded into it are based around applying different types of hurt into a situation.
Mark IV Defender Armour
With two distinct layers, the Yellow Defender suit is designed to take a fair number of hits. Those trained in its use are fully aware that they are supposed to stand between their team, and something quite nasty. Usually ends up hanging around in the medical facilities after a mission is completed.
Mark IV Supporter Armour
With a helmet that is far more advanced then any of their team-mates, the Blue Supporter suit is designed to collect and filter data in order to understand any given situation. Blue Spectrum Rangers tend to be more frail then the others, picked for their abilities with technologies, and not because they were captain of the high school football team.
Mark IV Director Armour
Equipped with an array of gadgets, the Green Director suit can create a Smoke and Mirrors situation to confuse and control opponents. Masters of misdirection, Green Spectrum Rangers have a tendency of being far too smug when their targets end up doing something far different than they originally wanted.
Mark IV Violet Armour

While the Mission is collect the source of the mysterious signal, we all know that isn't the primary objective.
The primary objective is to beat the snot out of the other trainees who share your colour and become the best of your type. There is only room for one Red, Yellow, Green, Blue and Violet in the winning team, and you'll do anything to be in there.
Even if everything goes wrong and we all lose terribly
You'll still win if you are the last of your Colour
and even if you fail to defeat the forces of evil and the signal is destroyed and the host gets set aflame
You'll win double if you manage to be part of the surviving five man team.
