Now if you’re wondering what the point of this thread is, then I’ll gladly explain. We talk about those who run that race. Those who want to have more money, to be happy, have nice things, and to become famous through the sweat and blood of themselves, and others. To most people, they are no more than cage dogs looking for the thrill of violence, but to us, they are professional strikers. They are professional grapplers. They are professional mixed martial artists. Is it truly a wonder that the general notion is that you’ll have to be some sort of crazy to not only find amusement and entertainment from two individuals brutalizing each other in national television, but also have complete and utter respect for them? If so, I wonder why I’m not in the looney bin. You also are completely free to discuss other things that are just about martial arts in general. Come in, and tell us about a particular fighter you find extraordinary with their distinctiveness. Feel proud either way when you describe us about the experience you had winning or losing in a local tournament whether or not it is Boxing or MMA related. Ask us whether or not the school located a few miles away from your house is worth the price, and time. Tell us of your aspiration and ambition, and we will help you pursue them when you find that you can’t. All you have to do is post, and we’ll be glad to help. Also, we love funny MMA pictures and gifs, so always feel free to post them to your heart's content. Enjoy this thread as much as I enjoyed creating it. We are all one.

They boast to have the best fighters in the world for the weight classes they showcase and besides the Heavyweight class, they are right. They have monthly pay-per-views and free cards on Spike TV every few months. Also, they cock block Strikeforce every now and then by putting old PPVs on Spike the same night Strikeforce is having a show.

Next we have the UFC’s little brother, WEC. They’re a separate organization that concentrates on the lighter weight classes of the sport, but is owned by the same parent company as the UFC, Zuffa. While they’re not as big an organization and don’t pull in the same amount of money as their big bro, they arguably put on better cards on a consistent basis.

Last we have Strikeforce. They can boast having the #1 Heavyweight and (arguably) the #1 P4P fighter in the world on their roster, but that’s the only major thing they have over their competition. They don’t have monthly PPVs, don’t have as deep a roster as the UFC does and they’re a bit more disorganized (as this is being written, their Heavyweight champion, Alistair Overeem, hasn’t defended his title in over two years). They have some great fighters, but they are a very solid #2 behind the UFC.
