I would wager that it's not a problem with viewer retainment so much as viewer not-bothering-in-the-first-place-ment.
Also, I don't recall seeing a promo for the show in pretty much ever.

Maybe it can be Family Guy'd, and after it outsells Avatar in DVD sales, they'll bring it back.

I do. They were really really horrible.
I know that I had no interest in the show until five weeks into last season when I saw the BoT thread was full of "OMG SO AWESOME".

I'm going to do something I hate now, because this quote from youtube is pure fucking gold in my opinion.
It's spoilered for two reasons: 1)It's a quote from youtube (from the second video), and thus brainmelting and 2) if the illuminati know that I know...
illuminati propoganda to make you accept the wrongs of the world in a joke. just laugh it off and it makes it all okay, that's just how it works. better off ted is illuminati psy op programming. your head is in the garbage watching this show, the humor is so on point that it makes me wanna fix the problems than laugh about them.
If BoT really was an illuminati plot, why is the show failing?

Their plot failing is all part of their plot.

As a student working towards a marketing degree these kinds of promo's fill me with hope. If people this shit at their jobs can land work for major networks then practically anybody with a degree and a suit should be able to land a solid job.

Aww, I sometimes think the same thing about my writing career.

You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.
I think the trick with a writing career is that you've got to be willing to consistantly dumb down your work and assume that your audience are utter morons.
Dunno. They don't have any plans to reschedule them right now.
Worst case is we'll have to wait for the 2nd Season DVD's, but hopefully they'll find a free hour at some point during the summer to burn them off before then.

And, while I'm wishing, I want a pony.

Even the later promos blew.

They'd have done better to just run the Veridian Dynamics ads, with a tag at the end with the time/channel.

Then I accidentally watched an episode on Hulu (The one where Ted goes LARPing and ends up running things) and found it hilarious.

Worry no longer then, there's a Season 1 set! Pretty damn inexpensive too.

You should give in to this desire.

Even at the bitter end, BoT gets screwed.

It is easily the WORST DVD set Ive ever seen. Easily. Im glad I supported the show, but my god it's awful.
No special features whatsoever. No commentary whatsoever. Same exact pictures and menus on both discs. Only options are PLAY ALL and EPISODES.
No insert in the DVD case. Nothing at all.
It is the absolute definition of bare bones. I was very sad.
The worst part is Netflix streams it in HD, so the DVDs are totally obsolete for now, because Netflix looks way nicer.
Oh hey, the entire 2nd season (episodes 12 and 13 included) are up on Netflix streaming right now.
They're not Jabberwocky great (the golden standard to which I hold every BoT episode), but they're still pretty good.
Plus it ended on a happy note, which was nice.
Sweet, I've been waiting for them to go up. Thanks for the tip.
Have I ever mentioned that I really like Netflix?
Because goddamn I really like Netflix.
