DDV, I gotta say, that hand looks awkward. Are you sure you can't have her holding the paper clip by her thumb and forefinger?
I think for her, it would be a little too heavy to do that. Maybe. The way I see it, that paper clip is probably her equivalent of a gallon of milk for us. Or do you mean that she should grip it from the side rather than the bottom?
I tried to take different photographs for this, but my model sucked. She just sat there like a lump. Which means that I had to build that arm and hand from scratch, which means it's going to look like hell.
Right. The drawing is on bristol and it's too big for my scanner. When I actually go to color it, if I ever do, I'll widen the canvas and draw that stuff back in. No worries.
And also I'll keep in mind for the future not to draw stuff bigger than my scanner.
You can always take a picture too. Don't limit your art to the size of your scanner.
I know that when I draw on bristol that's too huge for the scanner, I just scan it in pieces. It's a bitch and takes time and a half to scan everything in from each corner and patch it together in photoshop (or whatever), but it's usually worth it.

That's what I do too. The only problem is when things don't line up because they don't lay flat in the scanner.
Yeaaah, that always kind of blows. Usually with shifting stuff around and rotating and resizing you can get it close enough to fix it with a little ~*~photoshoppin'~*~ though.
Yeah. It also helps if you give them big overlapping areas. That way you can make the top layer transparent while you match it with stuff underneath.
Then after you line everything up, turn off the transparency, and feather the top layer's edge. That gives it a smoother transition.
Wakkawa I would like to see something else besides ladies from you? Or is this not something you get asked a lot? I am sorry if I'm messing with your habits, but I get tired of your gorgeous women and want to see you draw something else. Please consider this as just a request and do not anger yourself in any way about it.
This should get put on your tombstone...er fagstone

Two things jump out at me though. Small things but still.
The black half border is so thick that leaving the right and bottom sides open throws off the composition. And the left border makes the collar not as prominent because it ends right in the groove between the colar and the back.
Just to show you what I mean:
Yeah Im nit picking sorry. Otherwise awesome piece.

Yeah, the borders are mucking the composition
I'm going to try and mess around with it

I thought the collar looked retarded, so I did the shirt differently.

I made him angrier than he is in the photo, but I'm relatively satisfied with it.
