I love new expansions. It's kinda like playing a new but yet very familiar game. Then 2 years later you are talking about all the things you hate(ed) about it and how you cant wait for the new expansion!
They really got the spiraling quest hubs+nice short worthwhile quests things down in Lich King. Every zone but Borean was worth it, and Borean is still better than most quest zones from the original game or even BC.
I just hope that with only five levels they don't slow it down too much.

I thought Borean was a lot better than Grizzly Hills "Take these two quests and kill these guys over there and come back. Okay now take these two new quests to collect these items off the very same guys you just killed and come back. Okay now go kill the boss guy you've already killed twice and come back."
Northrend is going to feel pretty fresh for me on my hunter since, while I have 2 80's only one of them quested to 80. My druid sat in town and LFD to an easy 80.
Dragonblight is my favorite zone to quest in Wrath and I'm horde. I didn't hate any of the Northrend zones, though obviously you end up with ones you like better than others.

Dragonblight is one of the worst zones in the game.
At least they will still work 1-80. But damn Blizard's tendency to make each expansion utterly invalidate your previous efforts is annoying.
No, it's the best part about the expansions. Clean slate. Switching out those purples for some green you got four quests in. New talents, old talents getting obliterated. That's the best part about the game.
It does also reward people with tons of saved up gold, fast mounts, what have you as you can just buy your way up. It also rewards people who stockpile the right leveling resources who can become rich from said expansion.
Think of a new expansion as a new sports season. Sure, some people are ahead in talent or financial resources to get what they need, but realistically everyone has a fresh start.
I see no advantage to rewarding people who stockpile shit. I'd just as soon they turn your 4,000 stacks of herbs gray with the expac.
It will give you more to do, you see. So it's good.

Blade's Edge Mountains would like to have a word with you.
My hunter did at least a few quests in each Wrath zone while leveling (and obtained Loremaster since then).
I don't think my mage touched very much after Dragonblight (probably some Grizzly Hills). My shaman went straight from Dragonblight to Icecrown. And even in Icecrown mostly just did the tournament quests.
Dragonblight is awesome
Dragonblight is the worst zone evar
Blade's Edge Mountains is the worst
No way duder, BEM is radical and lovely
I personally hate the Barrens
Yeah, but everybody hates the Barrens.

Yeah, but everybody hates the Barrens.
It's the best Azeroth zone, hands down. Grab ALL of the quests, go in a giant circle, come back, level up twice.
For BC, the best zone... Nagrand looks beautiful, but the quests suck. I'd have to say Zangarmarsh is the best. For atmosphere and quest grouping*.
For LK, I really enjoyed Sholozar. It's simple and easy. I make sure all my characters do all the available quests there. Except for my DK, she hit 80 there, so I stopped.
To be fair, the best fix for BEM didn't happen until WoTLK. That place is terrible without flying mounts.
It's actually somewhat reasonable now, but very few people quest there unless they are finishing off loremaster or didn't know better and went there instead of Nagrand.
My dad always said "There is no trying!", then I showed him what it's like when I try to change my own brakes. I totally fucked up whatever holds my wheels together.
Silly engineers, thinking the shit they do is easy.
Ultimately though you either do or do not. It's an absolute sort of view. I don't buy into it myself but I had a friend whose dad was kind of new age and he sat us down one day (this was years ago) and told us to hold out our hands and we did and he gave us each a penny and then told us to try and drop the penny. When we did it he would say "you dropped the penny" and when we did not he would say "you did not drop the penny". In his own crazy way, dude was on to something.

Man, the only good thing to come out of Star Wars is the lightsaber. They should scrap the whole Star Wars thing and do something better that features a lightsaber.
The dude was like 900 years old(don't quote me on that)
Now what? :P
Ha, so I was right. To quote Wikipedia, the ultimate source of knowledge in the universe, "His final chronological appearance is Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, when he dies peacefully at 900 years old."

Life favours the prepared.
SW:Tor - Tao - Kryatt Dragon Server
Also, without a flying mount Howling Fjord is assatastic. With one, it's great.

Oh please, no one likes BEM.
Discuss.

*Personal opinion, blah blah blah.
Pluto was a planet and I'll never forget
If by best you mean "makes me want to stab myself in the eyes with a spoon", then yes, it is the best at that.
But good lord do those collection quests suck donkey.
It's not even at Soon yet. They're still at When It's Done.
Little bit of both?

:^:
I tried and failed. I will take this as a learning opportunity.

Well played sir.
That's funny because that means the Jedi are also Sith.
